A wonderful evening ... The lamb was amazing. Truly French cooking, with the fat scored and seared. The menu is in French, but we found the waitstaff to be very kind and helpful. Great value too ... $99 euros for drinks, apps, dinner and dessert.

We had read all the glowing reports on this Resturant and could not wait to try it since it was only a few blocks from our hotel. We had called ahead and gotten reservations for our second night in Paris. As it turned out our flight arrived at about 8 AM and we could not get into our room until... More

We are in Paris and have planned most of our dinners except for two. As we struggled to come up with one we checked out Trip Advisor and this restaurant was highly rated. We made reservations and went to dinner. We were the first ones there and were able to get seated in the kitchen which was a delight as... More

Many moons ago, we ate this gem of a restaurant on our first night of a 3 night stay in Paris. It was so wonderful we brought a new friend there the next night! We were treated like family! Absolutely one of the best meals you can get in Paris... or anywhere! All subsequent trips to Paris include a stop... More

Went there after a visit to the Louvre. The specialty of the day, fish in white wine sauce, was excellent. The service was fantastic and the staff helpful.

This is a lovely little gem of a traditional French restaurant - little being the key word, so do try to book in advance if possible (we did). We (my boyfriend and I) were lucky enough to be sitting next to the cooking area, and as it was lunchtime and not so busy as evening, we were able to chat... More

I’ve corrected the street address – 20 rue Saint Roch is the correct address. Sometimes with TripAdvisor the reviews get ever more enthusiastic until the perception is a venue will be monumentally brilliant - which is very rarely achieved. This a small restaurant with French character; my starter of duck pate was very tasty with great fresh bread. My main... More

Jeremy the waiter was fabulous. It is a Family run restaurant The meals were very good. Unfortunately, it was very warm that evening in Paris and the restaurant was quite warm. Make a resrevation because there are only 6-8 tables available per evening. Will definitely return someday when we get back to Paris.

La Cordonnerie has become my wife's and my favorite Paris restaurant. It's a tiny place (seats about 20) on a tiny street in the 1st arrondissement and the food is absolutely superb. Reservations are a must due to the limited seating. The menu is authentically French and we have never been disappointed. By all means indulge in the dinner special.... More
