we went with friends at the start of a long weekend in Paris, having booked from the UK. It was amazing having a table beside the cooking area, so we could see the array of amazing dishes being cooked and plated up. After a very friendly greeting from the chef-patron, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner: foie gras, andouille, veal all... More

Called for a reservation from overseas - it was worth it! The most lovely possible restaurant in the middle of Paris, like in a small country village. 8 tables practically in the kitchen. The Chef is opposite you and you see all the dishes being cooked from start to finish. One single waiter covers all - a bit slow but... More

Chef Hugo is the proprietor of this exceptional restaurant in the Louvre/Rivoli area of Paris. First and foremost the food is of high quality, well executed and representative of contemporary french, urban cuisine. The food is standard fare for those looking for familiar products that will satisfy and delight without unpleasant surprises. Service is attentive but not intrusive. The setting... More

This tiny restaurant was in an old building with original wood beams and great atmosphere. I ordered from the specials all of which were excellent. My husband had steak and frites, which were just fine. We were able to just walk in for lunch.

Do not miss this restaurant, if you can get a table! We had Dinner with our friends, excellent meal, my veal was excellent, we were lucky to get a table in the kitchen, to watch the owner/chef prepare our meal on October 14, 2014. By far our best meal in France.

Although we didn't have a reservation they found us a table and tje main course was delicious. But we weren't a big fan of the starters.

My salmon entree was delicious. Chicken sauce au framboise was also very good. She had a duck tartine which is ok to me but she liked it. Her grilled lamb steak was good but a bit chewy at times. Overall good food good service. Reservation a must!

We had dinner here after visiting Louvre. We found this little gem from TripAdviser. We sat in the kitchen since the dinning room was full, which was actually a treat for us since we could talk to the chef easily and watched him in action. The cream mushroom soup was heaven. The duck was tender and juicy. The fish was... More

A wonderful evening ... The lamb was amazing. Truly French cooking, with the fat scored and seared. The menu is in French, but we found the waitstaff to be very kind and helpful. Great value too ... $99 euros for drinks, apps, dinner and dessert.

We had read all the glowing reports on this Resturant and could not wait to try it since it was only a few blocks from our hotel. We had called ahead and gotten reservations for our second night in Paris. As it turned out our flight arrived at about 8 AM and we could not get into our room until... More
