Fantastic Dinner after visiting the Louvre

This tiny restaurant serves fantastic meals!!! Our group of 5 arrived late in the evening after walking from the Louvre (approx. 8 min walk). We were seated promptly by the nephew of the chef and service was excellent from moment one! The restaurant is family-owned and managed (nephew gave us... read more

Absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommend that you try to secure a table in the kitchen so you can watch him prepare your meal as well as those of others. We had an intimate little corner right by the refrigerator and had a fabulous view of his genius. The place is small, but so charming and our waiter was attentive in... More

Trust the reviews! This was recommended by a friend and she was spot on! Reservation is a must. We sat by the kitchen and watched the chef work. Best meal we had in Paris --- we had the veal and the caramel chicken....to die for! It's a two man team and they did a fantastic job! Loved every minute. Next... More

The restaurant is small like most in Pariis but it fit our large group of 7 fine!. We could see the chef prepare our meals. We all liked our meals..It was our favourite meal in Paris. We still remember the peach foam dessert!

Although the place is small, this restaurant provides the best foie gras in Paris. The chef'cooking is excellent, the service guy was very polite and patiently explained the menu. Love this place!

The one constant you hear in descriptions of Parisiene restaurants is "but it was very expensive or pricey". We went to Le Train Blue and had a great lunch for 3, but it was almost 200 euros. At La Cordonnerie you can have a terrific French dinner for 3 and it will only set you back 140-175 euros for a... More

We had an excellent lunch here! It is very small though so I would highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time. It is well worth scheduling your day ahead of time to get a great meal in a neighborhood so close to major attractions like the Louvre, Musee del l'Orangerie and Jardin Tuileries. We had a time booked to... More

This is by far the smallest restaurant we have ever eaten in. We called on our way to make a reservation which is really needed in order to get a table. We saw several people who were turned away. The food and service were both phenomenal! I had the veal which came Ina rich buttery sauce with French fries. The... More

We went to this small restaurant on the evening before we dined there on the off chance we could get a table but they were booked out. A reservation is a must. We dined there on our last evening in Paris and thoroughly enjoyed the service and the meal. It is a family run restaurant with a small number of... More

We made a reservation for this cosy restaurant and were not disappointed. The part of our evening aside from the delicious flavoursome food was the chef Hugo who obviously has a great passion for cooking. He chatted to us and showed us the specials he was making. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a truly French experience. It... More
