The food was sublime, the staff attentive, the cost very reasonable, the owner like an immediate old friend. Could not have ended our time in Paris with greater joy.

I am a big fan of Dita Von Teese, she highly spoke of Le Récamier in Paris, that's why I ended up there last night around 9:45 pm. There were tables available and the boss told me to wait 2 minutes before they clean the tables, when the waitress came back to lead me to the table, I told her... More

Le Recamier doesn't rest on its laurels. It is an institution, but delivers on the food and ambience. Staff is friendly and helpful for non-Francophiles. Yes, the souffles are their hallmark, but don't pass on the chalkboard specials. I had the lamb cutlets which were juicy, well-seasoned and cooked to perfection (ask for "a point" if you want them medium... More

A very nice place with nice people. But the food was very mediocre. The onion soup was like onion water, the taste of boullion with a little onion, with a cheese coated piece of bread. The rest was a bit better, but I wouldn't eat there again or advise anyone else to either.

Le Recamier was highly recommended by a friend who spends a lot of time in Paris. The restaurant is wonderful. We were surrounded by locals including one who had her dog on her lap throughout the meal. You don't see that in the United States. The souffles were spectacular. We ordered one with duck, roquefort, figs and vanilla. It was... More

A boeuf a la ficelle that is just out of this world! Souffles for all taste and a menu catering for all tastes. The chef is probably one of the best in Paris. The atmosphere is friendly and refined, the service "impeccable" and whatever you eat is hard to fault. We were lucky to be able to have four meals... More

You can definitely get your souffle fix here! Recommended for both main and desert! Fantastic spot in the heart of Paris.

Just the perfect place for lunch in Paris Surprisingly not eye-wateringly expensive, in fact, for the location and the perfect food, it was reasonably priced. Busy buzzy and set in a great location. ( not far from the best department store in Paris) Brilliant
