We walked a long way to get here. There was something not exactly right here. You walk in and the dead stems from flowers are right in front. It was like the owner was away. The washrooms are downstairs a spiraling staircase and the taps don't work. The place seems run down. While my girlfriend was at the washroom this... More

I picked this restaurant from reviews on Trip Advisor and because it wasn't to hard to get to from our hotel. Isle St Louis is a very pretty area and well known for it's Berthillon ice cream. The Orangerie is found down one of it's little streets filled with other small bistros. We really liked this restaurant. The menu was... More

A rainy but slow night on the island, only half the tables were occupied, and most of the diners in this cozy little gem were tourists. The waitstaff was patient and attentive, the menu has plenty of variation, the food was delicious and its presentation was very fine. And yet the price was very reasonable, far less than I had... This is a very charming restaurant with great aesthetics and ambiance The service was friendly and attentive. The menu offered a great selection and the food was presented beautifully - unfortunately it did not meet the mark on taste. Two of us had the eggplant gratin with curry and we both agreed it was completely overpowered by the chevre. My... More

Food was excellent, service very good and attentive. Great area away from tourist places. Would go again. Recommended to two other parties and they were impressed.

Unless I have someone local to show me where to eat, I find it hard to hit a really good restaurant in Paris without paying through the nose. On this 5th trip to Paris I hit 2 good ones and L'Orangerie is one of them. I gave up waiting for a table for eight at another restaurant nearby when I... More

We had a long enjoyable set lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant was fairly quiet as most tourists don't seem to go as far as that end (East) of Île St Louis. Service was professional but friendly; food was tasty and well-presented; the ambience was very pleasant - and the bill was very reasonable. We shall certainly go there... More

We had a great lunch and price was not bad. For two, my husband did the fix and I just ordered the special of the day plus a glass of champagne. 50 euros, quite and nice place for a lovely meal.

Quiet, good food, excellent service, lots of local clientele. We spent a long rainy lunchtime here and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful experience at our first dinner in Paris at the L'Orangerie. I had the ravioli for an entree. It was done perfectly on a bed of spinach. The duck for the main course was superb. The cream mousse was a great finale. The staff was very good. Professional at all times. We had made our reservation by... More
