My wife & I have visited the restaurant 3 times now & have had a great experience each time. Of the restaurants we've eaten at in Paris, this has been our favorite. Everything we've tried has been good! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food; each time we've had the 3 course fixed price menu and... More

Our group of eight dined at L 'Orangerie while in Paris for a four night visit. This small, quaint restaurant offered a very charming atmosphere, helpful staff and delicious food. We all enjoyed our meals and would recommend this to others who visit and want a good meal at a reasonable price.

I would consider a dinner here to be a must-do experience for tourists. You get to walk over a bridge onto the small island St-Louis and then down a narrow cute street to the restaurant. It's easy to find on the small island. Everyone speaks softly here (and the staff speak fluent English). The food is prepared with great care... More

So nice to find a good restaurant, not too far from Notre Dame, located on the quiet Ile St Louis. The interior is a delightful blend of old and new, the staff charming (some speak English, not all) and the food is very good. As in many Parisian restaurants, it's a tight fit. They cram a lot of tables into... More

The pesto ravioli was perfect! The lamb was perfect! The duck was perfect! And the atmosphere, walking through the quiet night down the Ile Saint-Louis in the heart of Paris, to a tiny little restaurant glowing with warmth and welcome--perfect! I could eat my way down that entire street lined with perfect restaurants on that perfect island! I love Paris!

This part of Paris is pretty flooded with tourists and suspiciously low on locals, which often means that one needs to be very picky on where they eat if they want to get a good meal - there are not many places in this area that depend on repeat customers. We were pleasantly surprised at this place. The inside is... More

Visited this restuarant on the last night of our Paris workshop and it was excellent catering for all 10 of us. Food was lovely and ambience lovely. Highly recommended.

We wanted to find a place for dinner in the center of things. Well, it doesn't get much closer to the center of Paris than Ile St Louis. The place was modern and the décor was centered around the cinema, complete with unobtrusive scenes from old movies playing on screens embedded into the décor. The service was quite pleasant and... Located on Ile Saint Louis - is a small restaurant with great food and an amazing collection of vintage French films that they show on small TV's in very attractive frames throughout the restaurant. The food is outstanding and the prices are very affordable for a Parisian restaurant with so much ambiance.

We've been to Paris a couple of times, and have always dined at least once each time at L'Orangerie. We've enjoyed the good food and wine, along with very friendly service. Will definitely go back again on our next trip!
