We tried L'ilot Vache on the recommendation of a friend. We liked it so much that we returned for dinner the next evening! The restaurant is small, with a comfortable atmosphere and charming decor, and it's located in a quiet neighborhood on the Isle of St. Louis. The waitstaff were very accommodating, and they made us feel instantly at home.... More

The Isle St. Louis is always a must when visiting Paris, and L'llot Vache is agreat place to have dinner when visiting. The bistro is very romantic with old stone walls, beamed ceilings and some wonderful windows. The flower arrangements are exquisite. They seat only about 10 tables so reservations are a must. Be a little early for your reservation... More

Started with 2 glasses of pin eau de charentes, followed by escargots, and foie gras. Then rack of lamb and matelot du marche, with tart tatin for dessert with coffee and a double Hennessy Cognac. Started at 7:30 and was having so much fun with the wait staff, and the family from Belgium to our left and the couple from... More

A small, romantic restaurant on the ile Saint Louis. Excellent service, fantastic food and a charming atmosphere. We had the four course dinner, which was a good value. We choose escargot, beef bourguignon, chocolate mousse and tarte tatin, all of which was delicious! Make reservations because it does fill up quickly every night (we were staying just down the street).... More

Located on I'Ile San Louis this tiny gem of a restaurant was one of the best places I ate at during my visit. The food was superb as well as the service. Nice moderately priced wine list. Great ambience. Very small so you should make a reservation.

L' Ilot Vache is a fabulous find! Such a cozy atmosphere! We felt welcomed from the first moment! Prompt, fun, friendly service, sumptuous food, an excellent wine selection....AND intimate enough that despite a full house crowd, we had a lovely romantic dinner! A blend of tourists and locals was a sure indicator that this is a "fabulous find"!! Just a... More

Going to L'llot Vache for dinner is like dropping into another world. My wife and I have been to Paris three times and we make a point of dining here every time. The atmosphere couldn't be better or more French. The restaurant is small, quiet, intimate and romantic. The food has always been first-rate and the menu very traditional. The... More

Wonderful, quaint, comfy cozy restaurant. Probably the only one we ate at that I took pictures of the interior. Food was deelish and service was friendly (even tho we got there close to 9:30 and the only other occupied table was getting ready to leave). Definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere for either couples or groups. We were a party of eight this time having been ere as a couple on a previous trip to Paris. The wine choice was wide and our waitress had excellent knowledge of the wines. We have recommended this eatery to friends in the past and will continue to do so.
