This place is adorable and somewhat cramped. Without exception, everything we ordered was delicious and everyone was happy with the meal. At least the meal that they got. That leads me to the bad... As stated before in other reviews this is a restaurant of about 40 seats and it has 2 servers. The servers were friendly and were working... More

We stumbled across this restaurant while walking and it was easily the best dinner we had in Paris. Great food and very friendly service.

40 seats and every one taken, one waiter and one helper. The service ain't quick, but the friendliness and showmanship are high. Food is good, the wine list is wide (we had a tasty red Sancerre,) and the prices are good. A little touristy, in that the out-of-towners book at 8pm and the locals show up later. We will return... We dined here after a concert at Ste. Chapelle. Cute place (try to count all the cows), wonderful food from the grill (try the lamb chops and mixed seafood). Save room for dessert (tarte tatin, chocolate mousse).

My wife and I made reservations here for dinner, and both picked the three-course menu at 36 euros. We enjoyed the fish soup and snails for our appetizers, the boeuf bourguignon and duck confit for mains, and cream brulees for dessert. Really enjoyed each course, and appreciated the leisurely pace that allowed us to enjoy the food and each other's... More

I've eaten here 3 times, and I've never been disappointed. It's a really small restaurant, with great food, good wine, and not too expensive by Paris standards. Everyone I've taken including my wife, the foodie, really enjoyed this restaurant. You'll have to take a taxi, but it's worth it.

The atmosphere is charming and the staff very nice, BUT we should have paid more attention to the name: this place is all and only about the cow. Pictures and other decorations are representations of cows. And beef is what is on the menu. Don't bother with salad (iceberg lettuce, with slices of beef on top) or any of the... More

We were part of a party of eight. Our reserved table was waiting for us and we were seated promptly. Every part of the dinner was a great experience. From the appetizers to the desert, the food was wonderful and staff could not have been more attentive. It was clear from the attitude of the other diners in the restaurant... More

Last evening four friends had dinner at Vache at the recommendation of a friend. Made reservations (highly recommended) and our arrival was the beginning of a dining adventure enhanced by the service and entertaining attitude of Luis (I believe) and his staff. It is a small venue, perhaps 12 tables and the decor is symbolic of the fare (traditional French).... More
