Good wine selection, nice atmosphere.

We joined up with family in Paris for a weekend, and had lunch at Enoteca. Low-key atmosphere where we tried a few good Italian wines while waiting for the late-comers. The menu is rather limited, but with a variety of choices. The vitello tonnato was decent, but not spectacular. The risotto lived... read more

A small room, attentive service and a nicely prepared (if limited) assortment of Italian dishes, with an extensive and reasonably-priced wine list. Not a reason to make a special trip, but if you are in the Marais, it is definitely one of the better, non-touristy restaurant options.

L'enoteca has been our go to Italian restaurant in Paris for several years. But..either new management or relaxed standards have had their way. Today's food is not up to par. Easter is a special day in Italy, often celebrated with a lamb mid day feast. At L'enoteca the easter lamb was breaded threesome of lamb chops with oozing fat and... More

One of our friend wo lived in Paris for 16 years recommended this restaurant. Our dinner was fresh and well prepared. The ambience was excellent. We felt the desert was overpriced but the rest of the meal was very fairly priced. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a great restaurant. Feels like it's been there for years, but that's no bad thing at all. The food is fantastic quality and the fish dishes we had for entree and main we absolutely delicious. The Marais has lots of cool young places, and some tourist traps. This is neither. It's a genuinely great Italian restaurant with superb... More

Very good option to remember the Italian taste when you are in Paris, France. They offer a very nice selection of Italian wines and also the dishes are truly Italian. A bit expensive, but it's worth trying if you are around and will not visit Italy. The staff is also gentle and the owner is around all the time to... More

We came across the restuarant by chance and were not disappointed We had the 15 Euro two course midi menu which is great value - though we were tempted by the ala carte; the desserts are great. A good find and we will be back - it is good Italian food all made on site.

We stumbled upon L'Enoteca and decided it was lunchtime. We had the 15€ menu dejeuner, with 2 courses and a glass of wine included. First course was a hearty fish soup full of flavour. Then we had a pasta dish with basil and tomatoes. Yummie! Neither of us could finish this course, because of its size. Eating a la carte... More

Very good "true" Italian food. Not many choices in the menu because everything is home made. If you are nostalgic about Italy, go there ;) The whole team is Italian.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
