In the heart of the 4th district; the Marais district, Enoteca is a fine Italian restaurant that has made a name for itself for its love of wine. The restaurant has its own discreet and rustic charm with its ceiling lights, beams and visible stonework. Its warm colours also give it an inviting mood. The Italian dishes are prepared with regional produce that are imported directly from Italy. The wine cellar was voted best Italian wine cellar, with 400 labels.

Good service but the food was pretty tasteless. It is a pleasant venue. The menu could have a few more regular Italian options perhaps. The pasta was tough and tasteless and the mozzarella was not a good quality. The soup was good but the risotto was really not good. Another over rated Paris restaurant?

Nice restaurant atmosphere and cool decor. Very good food and most importantly on a super hot day, Air Conditioning!!! We have had some hits and misses in the Marais, but this is certainly a hit.

This is my favorite restaurant in Paris. Every time I am in Paris I go there. The Food is exellent and they have beautiful italian wines. Yoy can eat and drink cheap if you take the menu of today, and that is very good or you can choose wht you like and drink fantastic Barolo, and then you pay some... More

We joined up with family in Paris for a weekend, and had lunch at Enoteca. Low-key atmosphere where we tried a few good Italian wines while waiting for the late-comers. The menu is rather limited, but with a variety of choices. The vitello tonnato was decent, but not spectacular. The risotto lived up to expectations. The service was friendly, and... More

A small room, attentive service and a nicely prepared (if limited) assortment of Italian dishes, with an extensive and reasonably-priced wine list. Not a reason to make a special trip, but if you are in the Marais, it is definitely one of the better, non-touristy restaurant options.

L'enoteca has been our go to Italian restaurant in Paris for several years. But..either new management or relaxed standards have had their way. Today's food is not up to par. Easter is a special day in Italy, often celebrated with a lamb mid day feast. At L'enoteca the easter lamb was breaded threesome of lamb chops with oozing fat and... More

One of our friend wo lived in Paris for 16 years recommended this restaurant. Our dinner was fresh and well prepared. The ambience was excellent. We felt the desert was overpriced but the rest of the meal was very fairly priced. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
