Why save the best for last? Life is short. Let’s talk about dessert first. We’d come to Auberge Bressane mainly because we fondly remembered the soufflés offered there. Five different dessert soufflés and one main course soufflé are listed on the menu. The most intriguing option: three mini soufflés that can be shared. We chose that one. The classic Grand... More

Creative and sumptuous French fare; but very rich & heavy. Make sure to pace the meal and not order the heaviest at each course. And don't drive home after their wine list...

Say Haute Cuisine, to be fair, it is not even THAT expensive (if you compare with other major cities in the world). It was located in a quiet neighbourhood and all the patrons seem to be locals (not a tourist hot spot "yet"). The food was heavenly. Also one of the very few places where you can try "vin jaune"... We ate twice at this restaurant, once just for their desserts. Food is delicious, wait staff very friendly. Their crab souffle is outstanding. Located one block from Rue Cler. Don't miss it.

On the recommendation of a local, we went to this restaurant and loved everything from the crusty rolls/salty French butter, to the foie gras appetizer to the duck w/ Montmorency cherry sauce (devine) to the excellent chocolate souffle. Service was good. Only negative comment is that the tables are really tight, so be prepared to rub elbows with your fellow... More

This place has soufflé down to an art! I had the cheese, husband had the crab and both were perfect. Friend had this mushroom dish with eggs and red wine sauce that was wonderful. You need fresh bread to dip in that sauce for sure. All of their sauces were perfect. And dessert, yes, I had a second soufflé -... More

I know this place for many years now. It is always perfect. Never had a bad experience. Food is perfect and service is also really good. If you are looking for real French food, this is the place to go. The only problem is to find vegetarian options... In any case, it is the place to go if you want... More

The food was bland and not well prepared. The service was terrible. It was the worst bistro experience I have had in Paris. Such a shame - wasted a night in Paris here.

Food was delicious, medium to high priced. Drinks were very high priced, medium selection. Ambient is cozy, typical French. Overall good experience.

I come here very often for birthdays, anniversaries, when friends come to visit, or basically whenever I get a chance. It is really special to have this kind of traditional, quality food, and even though its a bit pricey, compared to some other restaurants I've tried in the same price range, this one is really the best. Highly recommend to... More
