So you should do a 3 star Michelin restaurant in Paris. And if you're gonna do that, why not go for the place that avoids brain and organs. Our meal was spectacular and one of the most fun parts of the meal was Alain Passard. He works the crowd like a pro and makes everyone feel welcome. My wife and... More

4 of us for dinner in July 2014… after being at some of the (stuffier) more established restaurants in Paris, this was dinner on the last night and a refreshing change. The chef came to our table to talk excitedly, in english and french as our party was mixed, about what was on the changing menu that day. Every single... More

The food was outstanding. Unfortunately we were two hours late for our reservation but we kept them informed of our delay. They accommodated us and the chef greeted us in person. WE were disappointed that our delay precluded the lengthy tasting menu especially since what we ate was superb. There are outstanding vegetarian, seafood and meat dishes. Relatively casual for... We came to L'Arpege to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday and it was a most memorable night! We had the tasting course which was meant to be 12 courses, but because the restaurant knew it was a special occasion we were given an additional 4 courses! Most are vegetarian - have learnt that the tomato is a very versatile vegetable!... More

My mates and i struggled to find L’arpege and didn’t realise the restaurant was so near the roadside. Everyone literally stared the daylights out of us as we arrived. We had the L’arpege set lunch (EUR140) with wine pairings, which came to approximately EUR250 each. The wine pairing was good, if slightly pricey. The food had its ups and downs... More

This was our big splurge on our trip to Europe and it didn't disappoint. We had the lunch menu for 350 euros for two, including two glasses of wine each. Most of the dishes were vegetarian, and it was amazing how seemly simple dishes could taste so exquisite. We were supposed to have 15 courses but we stopped counting and... More

Everything about the experience was spectacular. From the moment you walk in you are treated to a truly memorable evening. The food was innovative and delicious. The service was spectacular. The wine was flowing. The chef spent time speaking with us. A very expensive meal, but well worth it. A wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion.

Indeed I do and it was one of the most memorable dinner. The chef is very innovative and spent long at our table explaining us how he grows vegetables and the spirit behind his cuisine. It's refreshing. Just one dislike is the setting.

Well, it is M 3 stars so quality matches. Loved the egg on a cup, tomato sushi. The point is I love how they can make the simplest ingredients so fabulous - a slice of tomato with some salt and olive oil. I guess simplicity is sophistication. Expensive. We (2 people) ate for 4 hours and spent 1000+ euros, with... More

Words can not describe this simply special restaurant! Everything about it says Three Stars; First the service is perfect! The bread and butter are like eating dessert, very special. The many many courses are all one of a kind, vegetable dishes one could not imagine could be created. Lots, and lots of food. Desserts galore! Very special occasion and ver... More
