Interesting, tasty food, some of which was unique, especially the beet root tartare. Lunch Menu had 3 tasting menus including special of the day and jardin, both of which were mainly vegetarian which is our choice. Two of us had each of these options which turned out to be almost the same in quantity and quality with most dishes identical,... More

This is an absolutely fantastic experience ..... The decor and ambiance are outstanding ... Congratulations Mr. Alain Passard for sticking to your dream and not allowing anything to move you. Three farms in Paris with three different soils growing your crops. A Master butter maker churning your butter himself. SUPERIOR. This was the best non - meat experience i have... More

There is only one place to go in Paris if you want to celebrate a very special occasion -- Alain Passard's three Michelin star restaurant, L'Arpege. You have to plan on advance by about three months, calling to make a reservation. Our advice is to starve yourself for a day before you go. we sat down at 7 pm and... More

I first came 16 years ago but our lunch was as good. We had the 140 Euro menu, the food was excellent. The vegetable ravioli tender and flavorsome, the soft cooked egg in chorizo veloute to die for and the potatoes with tapanade creme were stand out dishes but we enjoyed it all. We were well sated by the amount... More

We had lunch at L'Arpege and chose the longer (vegetarian) of the two degustation menus. While some of the dishes were inspired - including a superb mesclun salad - the menu was too long and became quite monotonous towards the end. It certainly didn't justify the ridiculous cost, $991 for two including about four glasses of wine. One born every... More

Some months before travelling to Paris for work and then a break, I booked my table at Alain Passard's signasture restaurant, L'Argege. It is tucked away in the discrete moneyed 7th Arrondissement on the left bank of the Seine, about a 45 minute walk from my apartment in the Marais. I duly arrived to a warm welcome and a subdued... Thr price of the nine course lunch menu is 140€, and this is in my opinion the best lunch deal in Paris. You always get several extra dishes, and have 15-20 in total. The cooking is primarily vegetarian, but the chef is a master in creating dishes full of flavour based on vegetables, herbs, fruits and cheese. You usually get one... More

My husband and I had lunch at L'Arpège last week (lunch menu and vegetable menu). There was mold on a raspberry in my millefeuille dessert. I found the restaurant's response to my discovery to be unsatisfactory. They didn't apologize right away and just took some drinks (non-alcoholic) off the bill. They offered to make me another dish, but who wants... More

Not the same restaurant from a year ago... From a 3 Michelin star one would expect: - excellent service. It was not the case this time. We were at the bottom room which is nice but left aside. I had to ask for water twice, when usually I just drink a sip and get more. The wine came after our... More

My wife and I attended for her 40th birthday. As it happens, we had been here about 8 years prior and didn't recall until we entered. The staff was generally very professional and nice and the food quality and preparation was excellent. My wife does not eat meat so she had the vegetarian menu and I asked for a cross... More
