My husband and I had lunch at Arpege on a recent trip to Paris, where we dined at many Michelin starred restaurants. This was by far the best combination of locale, food, wine, service, and was the only one that included a chef-meet and greet. At lunch! (This is unheard of in New York where the... read more

First time arrived here. Not expect to have a long journey for a 4-hour lunch. First nine dishes, if i can remember, are vegetable dishes. Follow bu scallop and fishes, and then several amusing desserts. Alain Passard walked around and talked to each table. The atmosphere is good. True, it is expensive, but once a life should not be a... More

It was my first time in a real 'etoile' restaurant, and I went there only for lunch so that might explain my review. The place is fine, but I wouldn't consider it 'one of the best restaurants in the world' compare to other places I've been. Service is fine, not exceptional. Some particular dishes do stand out, among my favorites:... More

Beautiful restaurant with great staff. Nice to have knowledgeable Someliers who paired each dish with great local wines. The found some wine gems/varietals from unusual areas around France. The focus on vegetarian dishes was really good. Makes the meal a little lighter when you are having multi-courses.

Dinner, 3 people, tasting menu (not exclusively vegetarian) 420€ pp. Total bill incl 3 glasses champagne and two bottles wine c 1,900€. Visited Arpege 3 times previously and found it (in comparison with other Paris 3 star restaurants) a. at the expensive end; b. interesting in cooking style and combinations; and c. excellent but lacking the taste wow factor. This... More

This place is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to. The food, the service, the overall experience. Wish I could eat here at least once a month. I would probably gain considerable amount of weight...but it would be worth it. My husband actually asked them to quit bringing him food. I tired everything! I am a vegetarian... More

This was a treat for Christmas dinner. The restaurant, while not in a particularly great neighborhood, is a wonderful space. Light walls, wood paneling with stained glass inserts, comfortable tables and chairs. The chairs have to be comfortable, as if you do the full tasting menu it's almost 5 hours from start to finish. While they show about 7 courses... More

2015 is the year my wife and I celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We've decided to make it a year long celebration by (trying) to go to the top 25 restaurants in the world. We are using the San Pellegrino list of the best of... We were lucky to celebrate the New Year in Provence at the home of some... More

I have little patience for PETA-philes, or other people that want to impose their diet views, so I was a bit concerned about going to this 3 star restaurant. But omnivores can learn a lot from the cuisine here. We had the surprise or chef's choice lunch menu. While there are sauce-free items, such as the beet sushi, I found... More

Was it really good? Yes. Was I blown away? No I enjoyed it, but not the most memorable meal I've had in Paris. My wife shares this opinion. Worth a try, but not bucket list material.
