great for a celebratory dinner

This place is very farm to table and they service a lot of whatever is in season. They do the french thing where the man's menu has prices and the women's one does not. There was strangely not very many meat dishes. My husband had the sampler and I had (after i saw the price of the sampler... read more

I'm coming to the end of several weeks of traveling in France, and during my trip I had the opportunity to dine at several michelen starred restaurants. L'arpege was one of them, and one I was really excited about, but unfortunately, for me, it fell flat on it's face. I dined at 2 other 3-star restaurants, Epicure and Paul Bocuse,... More

Fabulous taster lunch. The food was amazing.. Wine was also fabulous. Staff very efficient. Also met Alain Passard who was very welcoming and chatty! Will go again!

Enjoyed the degustation lunch menu at 160 euros each. Greeted by the ever cheery Alain Passard before and after the meal. He loves his job he says. It shows. Every dish a taste delight - perhaps too many dishes but they just kept coming. Missed a bit of the wow factor for me but nonetheless we enjoyed it and have... More

l'Arpege is one of the very best three stars Michelin restaurant in Paris. The place is tiny but well decorated and intimate. Service is discrete and of excellent quality. I would recommend the menu degustation. The Radisotto crémeux à la truffe noire Tuber Melanosporum with noisettes de Pougues-les-Eaux was divine. The Rémoulade de céleri rave au tourteau de Granville noix & yuzu... More

One of the bets meals I have ever eaten. Very veggie centric, which I really enjoy. Chef Passard visited all the guests and was very charming. Would love to return in summer/early fall when vegetables and fruits are at their peak. Loved the beet tartare

This Restaurant is run by the 3 Star Michelin Alain Passard who is famous with using all the vegetables from his own garden in his dishes. Most of the Starters are vegetarian but you could find some meet & sea food. The Personalized Service is Outstanding but bee aware that this is a very expensive Restaurant.

One of the best meals I have ever had in my life. I am a big carnivore so to be so impressed by something so vegetable focused was a feat in itself by Alain (who came out and said hi too during lunch).

Only one vegetarian restaurant in Paris is Michelin rated 3 Stars and it is L'Arpege, and by enjoying lunch there, we know why. It was a relaxed three hour meal, with veggie appetizers to start and a dozen courses that often were a subtle parody of meat meals, but tasty, visually creative, and and rather filling. The chef stopped by... More

We went here to celebrate a special anniversary. As vegans, the City of Light does not have too many choices for dining (and in fact why would it?!). Anyhow after a trip full of many vegan workarounds we decided that we would splurge on a visit to L'Arpege. And splurge we did. Price for dinner was astronomical BUT we had... More
