A world apart but very pricey...

Amazing Food and amazing very knowledgeable service. Every dish, every bite a delight - the vegetables were astounding. However,- so was the bill. You will have to calculate around 250 to 300 Euros for a starter plus maincourse and desert without alcohol... If you like food that much it is worth... read more

I had a sensational birthday lunch here and can't wait to go back again next time I'm in Paris. Flawless service from the moment we stepped into the restaurant - this is how it should be done. We felt totally spoiled and pampered by all the waiting staff even though we were going for the cheaper lunch tasting menu and... More

Arpege's (formerly Archestrate) chef Alain Passard is probably the friendliest and most welcoming of all of the 3* restaurants we visited in April. He comes out to greet all the guests and checks in frequently. This made me wonder who was minding the kitchen. Of the 8 3* restaurants we visited, Arpege has held its 3 stars the longest, since... We had our Christmas lunch here and were not disappointed... From the "amuse-bouche" to the desserts all was perfect.. Yes Alain Passard is known for his vegetable preparations but he did not forget some fish, lobster ,... The old Comte cheese with white truffle was more than perfect... Good wine list but not enough half bottle. We'll be back...

We had the vegetarian degustation and every single course was a delightful shock to the palate (except the leek icecream palate cleanser)! We are glad we selected the lunch option - we were there from 12.30-4pm. The portions sizes and the number of courses meant that we were so full by the end of the meal, but we just couldn't... More

This has been one of the most wonderful meals we have had in several years. French cuisine in another level.

I want to start by apologizing to the amazing waitresses and one of a kind staff of this restaurant: I had no clue how much tip you leave in France... So after paying the bill and waiting for the taxi... I searched in the web and stumbled on a site (MAKO) which said that in France service is included in... More

How this is not rated the #1 restaurant, I'm not sure. As a vegetarian- it can be difficult finding great food in France other than cheese. Alain Passard has created a vegetarian tasting menu (also has a regular tasting menu) that is out of this world. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly. A very welcoming atmosphere. I've eaten here... More

A three star michelin restaurant deserving of it status. The tasting menu was exceptional, with a diverse selection of courses. Every dish was unique and extremely creative. A memorable evening.

After studying the reviews for this restaurant on TripAdvisor, I was a bit apprehensive about going to l'Arpege, but the reservation was already made and a friend had whole-heartedly recommended it, so we arrived here a bit after 1pm for lunch on a weekday with some reservations. I'm happy to say that the regular lunch prix fixe menu was exceptional... More
