Nice Find

A group of friends and I stopped in after a tour. It was a very delicious meal. We had a very nice white wine, and we choose things off of the menu board. My friends all choose the starter and main. They were all happy with their choices. I had a main, a duck that was delicious, it was... read more

I had thought about going to this restaurant for a meal, but had chosen elsewhere. Then, lucky me, some friends and I were having drinks and decided to follow up with a meal, and this is where they chose to go. The place is nice, but nothing super fancy about the decoration. However, the "Hot Duck" entree was so, so... More

Loved my visit here. The food was excellent! The atmosphere was inviting. The staff was courteous. And, the wine was great. Not much to say other than that I will be back.

We had dinner there with kids. Good food, mostly locals having dinner there the night we went. Good service and very good daily plates. Decent pricing for being hear the place vendome, will definitely return.

This is a great place. Prefix menus are a good value. Innovative food. A bar and wine list that I'd complete. We highly recommend. The place is busy

Three of us, including one very fussy eater, enjoyed a delicious meal from an interesting, varied menu. The menu is not very long but incudes dishes of most of the popular meats and at least one fish, plus unusually for many French restaurants a creative vegetarian dish. It's not cheap but the fixed pricing system includes sides dishes and means... More

Visited this cozy, friendly spot for lunch on a rainy weekday, and were really happy we did. Rostag does a fine job of blending classics with new ideas. We started with apps including buckwheat tacos with spicy rabbit and Asian drizzle...delicious. My entree was also very good (salmon), although the very simple, but it was cooked to perfection. My wife... More

I ate dinner here, tucking inside to get away from the rain. Great food at a reasonable (though not exceptional) price. I had the buckwheat duck tacos as a starter, a little odd but very tasty. For mains I had scallops, and for dessert cream puffs. All told, a lovely meal.

We just returned from a wonderful evening at the L'Absinthe! The buckwheat tacos were amazing, but the Spanish Pork was really special. It seemed like mostly locals, but there was an English menu, and the waiter spoke great English. Highly recommend.

Both indoor and outdoor dining. Fixed price menu with a few add on options. Several exotic starters (I had the buckwheat tacos with duck which were very small tacos indeed but quite tasty). The rib eye was really good. The best steak I've had in Paris. Service was good and English-friendly.
