I had a great lunch at Kinugawa. I had the Omakase menu. The food was very creative with a touch of French flavor, beautifully presented. I enjoy the new decor since the restaurant reopened and particularly the street level dining area. Service was good and pricing in line with the quality of the house. I recommend Kinugawa and will come... More

Japanese food is unsurpassed in Paris, at this otherwise trendy spot favoured by locals, and tourists from nearby up-market hotels. I can think of another two maybe that compete with the variety of dishes and quality of produce that the impeccable waiters bring to your table in just the right quantities (dishes are to share) and at perfect pace. The... More

Located in the posh St Honore' district, Kinugawa offers alternative & delicious japanese food. Perfect to share food with friends or for a romantic dinner. Food is really good, service just perfect but expensive

I went twice, the first time around 8pm lesser people with better services. The 2nd time at 9pm with more people therefore the waiter was busy and lack of services. Food and environment was great but is expensive and lack of selections of sushi / sashimi.

very classy decoration, swift and friendly service. not cheap, 62euros setmenu, very fresh and tasty, but not as "sharp" as I had expected. tuna tartare served on ice, very original. yuzu sauce very interesting and good. cod excellently grilled with a tasty sauce. Disappointing green tea ice cream, fabulous green tea creme brulee! I was not too hungry but the... More

First I did not pay !!! So my experience was not tainted by financial matters. Its cool from the moment you enter through white drapes. I ate upstairs with what seemed the good and great of Paris. I ate simply but the Black cod was so perfect it made my "chop stick" skills seem so silky. If you can afford... More

Unfortunately we arrived one half hour late to order some of the specialities of the house. We settled for the Sunday brunch, it was good, nothing special. The fish was very good, the sashimi was very very thin, and sushi good! Service was very good, prompt, and efficient, certainly there are better Japanese restaurants in Paris, I would try others... We like upscale Japanese restaurants so I researched and found Kinugawa was close to our hotel. I was somewhat concerned due to the mixed reviews on TA, but can safely report that our meal was very good. I had the 24 piece sushi/sashimi platter and my wife had California rolls and salmon rolls. 24 pieces sounds like a lot, yet... More

Great food, service a bit distant but was OK. On the pricey side but was worth the meal, sushis were really nice, modern taste and creative.

My first visit in renovated restaurant - modern look, mix of lounge, bar and restaurant, pretty nice. The food is great - outstanding ceviches (ok, not japanese but good), delicious sashimi, very nice soups but the prices remain stratospheric : if you are after quality only, then a great venue but value for money wise there are probably better places..
