If you want a break from French cuisine and fancy getting some good old fashion no nonsense food? At prices that are not too expensive( that's be honest everywhere in Paris is expensive) than this is the place for you. We used it mainly because our children would eat better, saying that we enjoyed our meals too.

Ok so it's not the most authentic way to experience Paris, arguably the culinary capital of the world. However if you just want no-non sense service at a reasonable price (especially by Paris standards) this is your place. Went here 2x on my stay (sat inside) in the city of lights and I must say the blue cheeseburgers are some... More

Joe Allen's in Paris is an American's home away from home. The friendly atmosphere of Joe Allens in New York is transferred to Paris. From the time you walk in the door you get the feel of a New York restaurant. The staff may be French but the attitude is New York. Great bar food and a plethora of American... More

I went there on a recommendation – I should have used TripAdvisor! It’s an American themed bar and restaurant with tables outside on a quiet side road. The atmosphere was good but there was no music; many folks sit outside to smoke so that can be a potential issue. The first glass of Chardonnay was nondescript – it could have... More

Service was perfunctory at first, but improved as the dinner went on. It was my last night in Paris and I'd intended to splurge. Sadly, the food was rather disappointing. The spinach salad had a taste-less dressing, the bacon was dry; however, I did enjoy the mushrooms and avocado. Burger: the meat was very bland, a thick slice (third an... More

The meal was ok staff all spoke very good English but they do take time to take your orders and clear the plates away. It is also quite dark in There.

I had this saved on one of our places to stop and eat at for American food. Our waiter Matthew spoke English and was very friendly. He asked us a lot of questions about where we were from and told us how he use to live in the States in the 80s. He explained to us about the loud chanting... More

We were a party of 50 ( 25 adults and 25 kids) and were looked after extremely well by the team at Joe Allen . Trying to get a reservation for 50 people, let alone a decent menu is difficult but Chrostopher (manager) was very efficient in sorting everything out. The food was very good and everyone enjoyed the meal... More

The seating arrangements for my self and my fiancée was poor we were the unlucky ones who had to sit next to some toffee nosed snob. We ignored this as much as possible and ordered the food, which was excellent, however it was a rushed service and we got impression they could not wait to get us out the door!... More
