Back to the old haunt this weekend, feels like an old friend. Ok you're in Paris and this is an American restaurant (part of a chain in London, New York and Miami), to me it deftly combines American hospitality and a French ambience in a warmly welcoming way. Sitting at the long bar chatting to the friendly staff is a... More

What a great bar in the 2nd. Very American but not bad at all. We spent a whole afternoon in it last week and had a great time. Great bar staff and quality atmosphere. Even found a table for 5 later on and ate there, very nice.

Only ate in the bar at this place...it was across from my apartment so convenient to stop in for a bite and a drink. I liked the warm (and dark) ambience, the friendly service and great drinks. Always felt welcomed here and so appreciated the hospitality and quality.

Goodburgers served at this place. Reading through other comments, I found out that some contributors found the place pretty expensive... Let precise that burgers price are ok(, (~17€, with sauces and fries nicely served with), but you may get you bills explosed whith drinks and deserts, that may be overpriced. Atmoshpere of the place is very nice, well decorated and... More

This restaurant is unlike normal American diners as combines classic (French style) American food with a typical romantic Parisien atmosphere. The food was tasty and i particularly loved how the restaurant was decorated and how it felt quite intimate for a big place.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
