This restaurant is unlike normal American diners as combines classic (French style) American food with a typical romantic Parisien atmosphere. The food was tasty and i particularly loved how the restaurant was decorated and how it felt quite intimate for a big place.

We walked along the streets of Paris leaving our apartment at 51 rue Temple, looking for pub atmosphere. We found it at the Joe Allen Bar. Beer, enjoyed it all.and lamb chops,

This is a good place in the Marais district for some real American food. It was a nice change from eating too many pastries. The place is a bit noisy but the burger and fries were very good. Service was excellent! Good selection of American and French wines. Overall a good experience!

Its OK if you are looking for some American food in Paris, but really there are lots of better food options all around this area. if you are a homesick American it may satisfy, but really its average at best.

Although this place is an "American" restaurant, its longevity in this location has made it more French in recent years. The staff are friendly and the food is good. If you want American hamburgers you can definitely get a good one here.

If you want a break from French cuisine and fancy getting some good old fashion no nonsense food? At prices that are not too expensive( that's be honest everywhere in Paris is expensive) than this is the place for you. We used it mainly because our children would eat better, saying that we enjoyed our meals too.

Ok so it's not the most authentic way to experience Paris, arguably the culinary capital of the world. However if you just want no-non sense service at a reasonable price (especially by Paris standards) this is your place. Went here 2x on my stay (sat inside) in the city of lights and I must say the blue cheeseburgers are some... More

Joe Allen's in Paris is an American's home away from home. The friendly atmosphere of Joe Allens in New York is transferred to Paris. From the time you walk in the door you get the feel of a New York restaurant. The staff may be French but the attitude is New York. Great bar food and a plethora of American... More

I went there on a recommendation – I should have used TripAdvisor! It’s an American themed bar and restaurant with tables outside on a quiet side road. The atmosphere was good but there was no music; many folks sit outside to smoke so that can be a potential issue. The first glass of Chardonnay was nondescript – it could have... More

Service was perfunctory at first, but improved as the dinner went on. It was my last night in Paris and I'd intended to splurge. Sadly, the food was rather disappointing. The spinach salad had a taste-less dressing, the bacon was dry; however, I did enjoy the mushrooms and avocado. Burger: the meat was very bland, a thick slice (third an... More
