We picked this place for our gastronomic experience on our trip to Paris. I did not know what to expect since my daughter and wife had really wanted to have this evening. We all got dressed up and caught a cab to what seemed like a very low key outside entrance. Once inside, it opened up into a very nice,... More

I've visited this restaurant at least 12-13 times over the years and never had anytihng but praise for it. The Maitre D is English, if he hasn't moved on since 2009, because he greated us in French and then recognised our accents. The restaurant is intimate but beautifully cosy with a warm feeling. The food is absolutely brilliant and the... More

Had dinner here and it was one of the best Michelin star experiences we ever had. Very traditional food (sometimes with a twist) but all perfectly executed. The starter of langoustine with grapefruit was the best fish dish that we ever had and the desert of souffle with prunes in armagnac was mouth watering!

Simply the best in Paris, and I can assure you, really the best, I know them all! Order anything on the menu, in any season: pure delight! The ambiance is very quiet, cosy, splendid service and vines, u have the impression of dining at friend's, as the restaurant is at the first floor of an old building in the heart... More

We had a nice meal here, but it really could not justify the prices. I don't think you can prepare any cod that justify a price of $65 or a berry dessert for $30. The escargot was wonderful. One of the most memorable foods of my life. I also had the Brittany lobster prepared 2 ways. It was very good.... More

We were apprehensive about bringing our 1 year old to the restaurant so we asked to see if it was ok before we made the reservation. The response was that it was certainly ok, so we did. When we arrived at the restaurant and were getting situated at our table, we temporarily put a small carrying bag on the table.... More

We try to eat at one Michelin-starred restaurant when we visit Paris and this time we selected Jacques Cagna at the recommendation of our concierge, who was able to get us a table on short notice. The restaurant was charming and rustic and the service was professional and attentive. The food was excellent with respect to preparation and quality of... More
