TERRIBLE!! Rude staff and if you don't order drinks they don't entertain you

If you are an Indian don't go there as the owner treats the local French very politely an they don't pay attention towards Indians or blacks

You would think that this place is heaven on earth with all the Michelin stars. To me, it was bland, the nan bread was heavy, and the meat dishes were tasteless. The only value came from the waiters, and even that was too much. Four waiters hovered over us throughout the meal. I don't want to be a hater, and... More

We came here on New Years Eve of 2012 and had a wonderful dinner. There weren't a ton of vegetarian options, but the ones on the menu were out of this world. The thali was impressive and incredible with five different plates in one! The staff was so nice, offering us free rice with peanuts and dried fruits. We were... More

Read all the 'hype' in brochures and magazines about how wonderful this place was so booked a table. Restaurant is very nice and staff are friendly but the food is slightly tasteless and portions are tiny. 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 rice, 1 vegetable dish and a very small Nam Bread, a bottle of wine and 2 martinis....£150! Not... More

After a brief walk from our hotel in Paris and a recommendation from the concierge, we dined at Indra. The restaurant was wonderful - beautifully decorated and inviting. We came to learn that they have been in business in Paris since 1976. The menu had many options - we choose from the ala carte side. Baingan Bharta and Dal Tarka... More

Butter chicken , garlic naan and peas pulau - the best combination and it's very tasty .. Specially butter chicken is spicy and tasted good .. The only downside is the price .. It's expensive .. Moreover ambience is average , the owner seems not bothered too much about customers ..

We went there for my birthday in order for me, in some way, to tick off what is said to be one of the best Indian restos in Paris. Well, i've ticked it off, and won't be returning unfortunately. The level of food was exactly the same as in my local Indian in Chatou, but for 4 times the price.... More

After searching the area for somewhere reasonably priced for about 3/4 of an hour we gave up and just went with what we fancied..a nice filling curry, how wrong were we. What greeted us when we sat down was 1 small burned popadom (there were two of us..?) and no pickles to accompany it. After seeing that none of the... More

We are a Indian couple who visited paris for about 10 days in late September 2011. In spite of the awesome french food (and desserts) we got to eat during our trip, at around day 7 we were inevitably craving for some indian food. Upon searching we got quite a few choices but decided to try Indra because it was... More

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
