Great experience

We were searching for a French restaurant in Paris that served a bone marrow dish. Google came up with L'Aubergeade which happened to be only a block away from where we were staying. A quick look on Tripadviser shoed that it was highly rated and bookings essential. We walked past around 7pm and... read more

I visited this restaurant during a recent trip to Paris. Delighted to find such a stunning family run restaurant just across the road from my hotel. The set menu for 27€50 was excellent: escargots, magret de canard et Cafe liégeois were all delicious and world class, and the ambience and hospitality were exactly what you would hope for in a... Great food for very reasonable price in Paris. If you speak French, you will also enjoy exceptional friendliness of the owner and staff. A great place to come back.

It's always dangerous when you go to a restaurant expecting good things, but here was fantastic. Fabulous atmosphere, very interesting food, funny waiters and just a fantastic evening. Unreservedly recommended.

Ate here on route to the station and discovered a gem of a restaurant. Very good value, good food and friendly staff. A real local restaurant where the staff seemed to know everyone who came in. Will definitely go back there.

7 months on and I still dream about the food at this place. Super cozy atmosphere and a friendly and helpful host. French cuisine and Parisian charm at its finest, book a table and go if you can!

It's always full of people. Worth a trip. The food is great and generous. Charming basic decoration and ambiance. During my stay of 2 months I couldn't not go twice.

"Tourists travel to see what they know; travelers travel to find the unknown." A great travel story leads to a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Thanks again to the charming and self-described "Iranian American Jewish" physician and his new bride we met on the train from Paris to Caen who recommended this delightful place. My husband and I loved this little restaurant where Le Patron was great fun and friendly. My husband had the scallops starter which were lovely, followed by the lobster and I had the squid which was delicious and not cooked in batter (for a change). For dessert we had the Cafe Gourmand which is a favourite of ours. The food... More

Other Trip Advisor comments lead us to book at this busy restaurant and it was probably a good idea as it was pretty full. The tables are close together which helps give it a lively feel along with the noisy friendly staff. I did feel under a little pressure as after we ordered food, I checked with my wife to... More
