A real French Bistro!

I don't know if there are many restaurants like this in Paris and if you don't speak French you might well struggle, but what a find! Family run, packed out on a Tuesday night (booking essential). Simple, tasty country cooking done with care. Nothing fancy but all delicious. Wine available by... read more

Stylish restaurant which as never guess standing outside. Because restaurant looks from outside absolutely expressionless. From the first time we have not got - it was busy. For the second time already booked in advance. Menu only in French, we were with our French friends, they transferred it. The menu is not large, but the choice of dishes sufficient. The... More

Our friends recommended L'aubergeade for real French dining. The owner, Nader, went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience. The food was so delicious!! I had the seared scallops with mushroom risotto, beets with white asparagus in a vinaigrette and the chocolate lava cake for desert....Spectacular Meal!!!

Nice food. Enjoyed the duck. The dinner set is pretty reasonable all things considered; they let you pick from quite a range of dishes. Wish they had an English menu, it was a bit difficult to guess some items. The 'rum baba' dessert packs a punch as it's soaked in pure rum.

My boyfriend and I were staying in a neighbouring area and decided to go for a walk to look for a nice local restaurant. After reading many window menus and passing various restaurants in the area, we stumbled upon L'aubergeade, which was buzzing with local patrons at 7.45pm when all other restaurants were empty and only starting to open their... Fabulous food in a little neighbourhood, fully booked when everything else was empty. Beautiful food, great service. Couldn't ask for more, lovely personal touch. Good English speaking despite French menu, staff very helpful ordering. Outstanding!

Fabulous food and service. Great atmosphere. Lively, local crowd. Packed on a Sunday night. Not touristy at all.

The best value we found across our week in Paris! For 30 Euros you can get a 3 course meal - and they are pretty decent sized courses! Made to perfection with all the flair you'd find with fancy a la carte restaurants, I orderd the steak and boy was it a big steak and cooked beautifully at medium rare.... More

Exceptionally friendly Parisian restaurant offering a choice of several good value set menus. Don’t miss the baked Alaska (omlette norvegienne) which is really spectacular. Definitely recommended but you will need to book as it's quite small and gets busy.

Visited early in the evening after reading how busy the place gets - we arrived around six and half the tables were reserved, filled up by half eight. Friendly staff - happy to translate the dishes into english for us as we could only pick out a few words we recognised! Really well priced three course menu and delicious food.
