We experienced an evening of fine cuisine with plates that were as visually stunning as they were delicious...The desert was not only a piece of art but perhaps one of the tastiest dishes we have had anywhere. A meringue the size and shape of a goose egg contained fresh strawberry ice cream and strawberries resting on a layer of mascarpone... More

Good food overall, friendly service and comfortable setting, in one of Paris' rather expensive areas. Some of the dishes were better than others though.

Visited Hiramatsu with my family of 4 for lunch in mid December. The service was superb, the truffle ice cream on pumpkin soup was heaven and so are the rest of the dishes. My family enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Yes, I'll be back !

My fiancee and I were just in Paris to celebrate our engagement, and wanted to do a special dinner. We had seen the high marks for Hiramatsu on tripadvisor, and it was close enough to our hotel that we gave it a try. Neither of us would be classified as 'foodies' I don't believe, but we thoroughly enjoyed all of... More

We treated ourselves to a blind tasting menu here and haven't had as good a meal in years. Each stop on this culinary journey was prepared to perfection, withe being so beautiful it felt a shame to eat them! Service was excellent, friendly and in English, wines were wonderful and the ambience intimate and comfortable.

I would actually say the place is a good value for Paris. Excellent cuisine, atmosphere and service. Most of the courses were creative and all were well executed. Would have liked a set wine menu to pair with the different courses...quite hard to match bottles with the menu over multiple courses.

It was a birthday lunch treat for the wife (first visit) and a return visit for me since the last sublime meal at the original Hiramatsu in Ile Saint-Louis years ago. The new dining room is modern and spacious but seems less warm and intimate compared to the Ile's. Other than the very helpful and kind sommelier, service was unobtrusive... More

The Japanese chef greeted us before dinner may be he thought we were Japabese but we are not. He could not speak English but only French and Japanese. The food were fantastic and light so you would not feel greasy and strong taste like tradition French food. Beside the price was very reasonable, it was a good dining experience.

I've bookmarked this restaurant months in advance of my Paris trip and made sure to make reservations months in advance. Due to our short trip to Paris we had to opt for a quick lunch at Hiramatsu. My whole family enjoyed our dining experience. From the beautiful artistic flowers, the great service, and the delicious food, I can't wait to... More
