Exceptional Classic French! I want to come back again soon!

With all the wonders Paris has to offer, Hiramatsu hosted one of our fondest memories! Amazing classic French food in the beautiful restaurant! Each dish was artfully presented and with taste to match. The chef came out and greeted each table with a warm smile, looking like a man who truly loves... read more

We were treated to an evening of delightful ease and sophistication by knowledgeable staff. The cuisine was dynamic, decadent and sincere. Hiramatsu's humble star shines with great brillance and my only regret is not eating here every night during our last visit.

My friend brought me here and it was a superb lunch! I was touched not only its sophisticated food, but also the great service of the stuffs. Very nice, elegant and fluent in English. Simply the best. I was feeling awkward going there for lunch with my jeans on, but their friendliness just killed my anxiety. I'd love to go... More

What an amazing restaurant tucked away on a side street not far from Trocadero. As you may guess by the name, the chef is Japanese, but this place serves exceptional haute French cuisine. The execution was flawless at every level. Dinner at these prices and with this quality is difficult to find in Paris. This restaurant can be talked about... More

I have always enjoyed my visits to Hiramatsu. We have done both the romantic dinner with my wife to the nice dinner with my 6 year old.

Like most people, when I saw Hiramatsu, I thought Japanese food. And like most people, you might have some doubt when I inform you that they serve French food. Yes, this is first rate French culinary cuisine created by a highly skilled Japanese chief who understands how to prepare dishes that look simple and beautiful at the same time. As... More

We experienced an evening of fine cuisine with plates that were as visually stunning as they were delicious...The desert was not only a piece of art but perhaps one of the tastiest dishes we have had anywhere. A meringue the size and shape of a goose egg contained fresh strawberry ice cream and strawberries resting on a layer of mascarpone... More

Good food overall, friendly service and comfortable setting, in one of Paris' rather expensive areas. Some of the dishes were better than others though.

Visited Hiramatsu with my family of 4 for lunch in mid December. The service was superb, the truffle ice cream on pumpkin soup was heaven and so are the rest of the dishes. My family enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Yes, I'll be back !

My fiancee and I were just in Paris to celebrate our engagement, and wanted to do a special dinner. We had seen the high marks for Hiramatsu on tripadvisor, and it was close enough to our hotel that we gave it a try. Neither of us would be classified as 'foodies' I don't believe, but we thoroughly enjoyed all of... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
