Le Georges offers fantastic views of some iconic sites, such as Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. Our meals were delicious, though portions were small, which was expected. Our waitstaff was impeccably dressed and resembled models, though service was inattentive. It was expensive for what we got. But the view was great.

Do not be sured about your booking! I had booked through its internet site for 14-02-2015 . Although they had sent me an confirmation email and I had booked two weeks before 14-02, they called me two days before(!!!) that day to tell me that there was a mistake and they do not have a table for us for 14-02!!... Ok, don't come here if you are on budget. Because your budget will be already exceeded when ordering a bottle of water. But if you don't mind of spending some euro's (and I don't mean thousands, even they have a bottle of wine for 4000€), then is this place great for special occasion with an amazing view and sphere. Went to Paris for a long valentines weekend and dined at the restaurant on the St valentines night. Nice atmosphere and music, welcoming staff too. The food was very tasty and good wine selection. The suggestion of the sommelier satisfied both me and my boyfriend. However, they brought the wrong mains and then had to wait for more than 30mins... More

I don't like writing bad reviews but this really was a waste of £50! I think the reputation of Parisian snobbery was born here. My partner and I went for lunch after visiting the art gallery. We thought it would be a nice treat but immediately the staff came across as pompous and cold and the kids on the table... More

Booked this restaurant for my boyfriends birthday after a recommendation from a french friend. After looking at reviews I was a little worried the food & service wouldnt be worth the money however it did not disappoint - the tempura prawns were big & juicy, the lobster linguine was lovely to, cocktails including the french kiss were fab! The setting... More

My girlfriend booked this chic restaurant based on friend recommendation and boy it delivered. Went on a Saturday night at 9pm, atmosphere was already buzzing, big open contemporary place which wow'd us walking in. Service was great along with the food (lobster linguini and fillet of beef was to die for) and the music from the resident DJ playing disco... More

There is such an appeal to high rise dining but Le Georges is unappealing. I visited for my birthday meal- my partner had requested a 'special' table and we were stuck in the corner of the restaurant, in the dark (the light above our corner of the room had broken). To sit down at your table, they have to pull... More

Trea cher naturally but worth the atmosphere, service and food. I have never gone for dinner so I'm not sure what nighttime experience is like. Lunch early is good time to go. Mushroom ravioli a with truffle crime are marvelous. Silver cod exquisite and the cool Light red fruit sorbet a great finish

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
