From the minute we walked in until we left 3 hours later, the staff were excellent, young & trendy, but very polite, perfect English, but willing to let us speak in Franglais. The view is worth the visit and if you can go for a window table, but even in the centre you can easily see Paris spread out beneath... More

Had a pleasure to visit Paris during short weekend break in April. I always stay in Marais so I decided to walk a bit and then visit Centre Georges Pompidou. I’ve just arrived from the airport and was hungry. And then I discovered this gem on the roof of the world famous museum. The hosts were cute and friendly. It... More

More than for its menu, Le Georges impresses for its architecture. Located on the upper floor of iconic Centre Georges Pompidou, designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers in the late 1970's (and recently renovated).the restaurant offers a magnificent view of Paris. Designed by Jacob + MacFarlane, who inserted a series of organic volumes in the original open plan, where... More

Ok. Last day, agreed we would have cheap lunch of escargot and steak in a brasserie. Hubby wants to visit Pompidou centre which I agree to despite feet killing me after traipsing round Louvre for 5 hours previous day. He is an architect so I have to humour him! Well, we got to the top and I spy a lovely... More

I was 2 days ago in Le Georges, at the top of Georges Pompidou Center, in Paris, and (I know this place for many years) I can say that it's still a good value. The design, the atmosphere, and the view on all Paris !! are still there You will find there a very good cuisine, with good products, and... More

Some times the fame of one place creates such great expectactions that cannot be met. Nevertheless, i wouldn't appreciate this place even if i hadn't heard anything before going there. The view was nice but the ambience was not warm at all. The decoration gives you the impression an industrial decoration due to the glass and metal all around. there... More

I had dinner at the Georges with a group of 10 people. The service was very good and attentive. I found the food to be good, but nothing spectacular. The same dishes are served in other locations of the same group, and priced differently (e.g. Costes, Avenue). For the location, the view (which is the major reason why to visit... More

First of all I have to say that I really wanted to see what the fuss was about. A designer told me about this place and basically warned me away. I loved the museum and needed a liquid break. So the five of us trouped up to the rooftop to get refreshed and recharged, True, the seating hostess was tall,... More

Our French friends booked this restaurant, and although we had a bit of trouble finding it (not sure how once you see the size of the Pompidou centre), it was worth it. This rooftop restaurant is chic and stylish so dress appropriately. The menu is not too extensive, so ordering is relatively easy. The wine list is very good, and... More
