A very Parisian experience!

This is a very classic Parisian experience and a real pleasure! We ate in the brasserie part which doesn't require reservations. It is cozy and intimate and our waiter was highly professional. The food - wonderful! After dinner we stopped in the bar which was equally as delightful!

We have heard of this famous restaurant bistro and we wanted to try it the first day we arrived in Paris. It is in a great location right on Champs Elysees especially if you want to watch others passing by. We had two coffees and a small bottle of water. We paid 12 Euro per coffee and 13 Euro for... Fouquets has 2 parts; one is more fancy than the other. The one with the red round tables (on the terrace) is the 'simpler' one, very nice to have breakfast while peoplewatching. The fancier one has tables with white tableclothes on the terrace, I had dinner there, very nice place with good food! The inside also looks very nice! I'd... More

The food is good but not that good. The desserts in particular are better elsewhere. My impression is that one pays a hefty premium for the Champs Elysee location. Your money would probably be better spent elsewhere.

We booked the table, and were immediately impressed and delighted by both the setting and the staff. We went for a standard menu, which included champagne on arrival, a bottle of wine from their selection, an amuse bouche, a starter, main and dessert. The waiter and sommelier were excellent, attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant itself has brass plaques on... More

A little too snobbish for my taste but great fun to watch people sitting there as well as the strollers along the Champs Elysee struggling with their big bags of shopping. Expensive coffee or water but then you are in a prime location and worth it just for the break. There are other cafes but this is the best location.

We stopped at Fouquet's for lunch and enjoyed it tremendously. We went back a second day for Cokes and a chocolate milkshake. My husband's croque monsieur was the best we had in Paris! Additionally, we got to enjoy the Champs-Elysees and a view of the Arc de Triomphe. The service is a bit slow, and the prices are high (like... More
