Description: Located in the Opéra neighbourhood, Le Drouant is a hot destination eatery...
Located in the Opéra neighbourhood, Le Drouant is a hot destination eatery – open 7 days a week – with five private rooms and a pleasant mezzanine. It is a real institution! Every year the famous Prix Goncourt takes place in one of the private rooms. You will appreciate its Brasserie ambiance and Art-Deco decoration married with a contemporary design. Black furniture and golden walls create a genuine experience, as well as outdoor seating. Plus, inventive menus seduce a varied crowd and satisfy varied appetites. Let’s relish the Chef’s hors d’oeuvre served by theme, in 4 small portions – Tomato Gaspacho, Peking Prawns, Marbled Ham and Stuffed Fajitas.Other products to taste: Veal Foie gras from Corrèze and roasted Cod.

Food is great, restaurant is nice. A bit expensive for what you get. Some of the staff is nice, but the "manager", although seeming nice in front of us, thought that we didn't understand French so he mocked us, together with other server, for the fact that we were sharing our appetizer and the dessert. I was ready to leave... More

This is a perfect example of Parisian classy restaurant: expensive, but totally worth it. We had a salad and the signature 4-hors d'oeuvres as starters and then the cod and homard roti as mains and we loved them. Top class wine suggested by a professional sommelier. The only comment is regarding the junior waitress who should not have been let... More

Walking past and decided to give it a try (had seen some reviews before). Lovely summer evening to eat on the terrace. Shared starters and desserts were good value and nice option to try a number of things. Steak and veal were generous portions. All food was tasty and good quality. Wine waiter was very helpful and we we were... More

we went here for our last night in Paris. It was definitely worth it. We met up with friends who recommended we go, so we joined them. it was for my birthday, and they even gave me a little birthday cake with a candle. For a michelin starred restaurant, the prices were very good. You got a lot of value.... More

A warm greeting was appreciated at Drouant. Great service and some traditional French food with a broad wine list. I can recommend the Drouant Bouliabaisse. Good food, inexpensive and with happy and friendly staff, given the chance, we will eat here again.

A change of pace meal in Paris, especially on a hot day. The food, especially the string bean salad was quite good. Service though was inattentive and English did not come naturally. When I ordered ice cream and strawberries I initially got 4 dishes of ice cream, then when I made strawberries clear I got a plate of strawberries with... More

If you want to wine and dine in luxury after work with colleagues this is a good address. Located in a small square, not far from Opera Garner, the surrounding streets already set the scene of decadence and Parisien chic. Stand outside the restaurant and you’ll look up at the names that adorn the building. These are the names of... More

Drouant provided an excellent evening for us. A first class Parisian experience with accommidating and polite waiters, great food and decor. The shared appetizers and desserts were a welcome change. Also impressive was the children's menu - the price was resonable $15 euro - and I could not believe the quality. The appetizer came out with foie gras, fish, leeks,... More

We dined there tonight and knew, from experience, that it is truly a very good restaurant. But they outdid themselves with our meal and our service this evening. We started with a selection of four different mini-appetizers, which were beautifully presented and tasted fine. Then my wife and I had two different fish dishes - excellent! And the accompanying vegetable... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
