Located in the Opéra neighbourhood, Le Drouant is a hot destination eatery – open 7 days a week – with five private rooms and a pleasant mezzanine. It is a real institution! Every year the famous Prix Goncourt takes place in one of the private rooms. You will appreciate its Brasserie ambiance and Art-Deco decoration married with a contemporary design. Black furniture and golden walls create a genuine experience, as well as outdoor seating. Plus, inventive menus seduce a varied crowd and satisfy varied appetites. Let’s relish the Chef’s hors d’oeuvre served by theme, in 4 small portions – Tomato Gaspacho, Peking Prawns, Marbled Ham and Stuffed Fajitas.Other products to taste: Veal Foie gras from Corrèze and roasted Cod.

Good Choice

Just a short walk from our hotel Drouant was the whole package for us. Great food, great wine and great service. From the time we walked through the door we were made to feel special. I had an amazing lunch on Saturdays at Drouant. I must admit it was after reading an article by Le Figaro, where it stated that they have the best "Pot-au-Feu" in Paris, this ranking was released quite recently, 2 weeks before my visit. Hence, it was quite a pleasure to realize that the Chef would be doing all his best... More

My wife and I did a short trip to Paris for the holidays and planned our dinner at Drouant well in advance. Glad we did as we arrived early and it was full for the evening. Good to have reservations. As we we having dinner on the 25th it took a while to get us seated but we got a... More

I had the pleasure of organising a group lunch for 17 people. I was dealt with by delightful staff. And when the big day came, it just rolled on as though on wheels! Everything was perfect. The service was top-class, the food was equal to the service !!

The biggest issue at this restaurant came within moments of sitting down. We were offered a reservation at Drouant at 2:30. We were not late, but within a few minutes of being seated, they were asking for our order. We had planned to spend a lot of money and some time on the meal being that it is a very... More

In a great atmosphere and with excellent service we were promptly accomodated to our table although we had not reserved in advance. As I mentioned the service was top-notch, the stuff was highly professional and very friendly. I was a little bit disappointed by the food, especially the main courses, rather below expectations. The delicious sorbet selections at the end... More

Let's begin by saying that the service from beginning to end was wonderful. The food simply outstanding. Began with a warm artichoke salad split with my wife. Tangy, fresh and a great beginning to the meal. I had the duck, cooked perfectly. Ordered the mac and cheese as a side. A must have! My wife ordered steak tartare. Great choice.... More

We have had some great meals in Paris — but this place is the best. It is not the go-to place for fussy gourmet dining. But if you want wholesome food prepared with unique style and taste (and nicely presented) — look no further. The service was first rate — and the head waiter, Hamid, went out of his way... More

We ate here as a group whilst on business in Paris. We had a set menu which we had chosen beforehand. The starter was fish and was lovely. We had duck as a maincouse which was beautiful, cooked to perfection - no mean feat when you are cooking for 14 people. The sweet was a lemon tart - again lovely.... More

We were staying at the Westin Vendome and the concierge recommended Drouant. It is a classic Paris restaurant that offers excellent food and service in a beautiful surrounding. The menu choices were excellent as was the wine list. The service was attentive, but not obtrusive and the waiter was able to discuss each dish and make recommendations. We arrived for... More

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
