Located in the Opéra neighbourhood, Le Drouant is a hot destination eatery – open 7 days a week – with five private rooms and a pleasant mezzanine. It is a real institution! Every year the famous Prix Goncourt takes place in one of the private rooms. You will appreciate its Brasserie ambiance and Art-Deco decoration married with a contemporary design. Black furniture and golden walls create a genuine experience, as well as outdoor seating. Plus, inventive menus seduce a varied crowd and satisfy varied appetites. Let’s relish the Chef’s hors d’oeuvre served by theme, in 4 small portions – Tomato Gaspacho, Peking Prawns, Marbled Ham and Stuffed Fajitas.Other products to taste: Veal Foie gras from Corrèze and roasted Cod.

Alsatian chef

Loved the choucroute! Mixture of sausages, ham and pork in divine sauerkraut which makes my mouth water just writing this. Very good winter squash to start. Also loved the scallops. No room for dessert though complimentary sweets were appreciated.

the food is ok,but nothing exceptional. Have a nice atmosphere, great service. Just all. 环境很优雅,气氛很浪漫,服务也不错,食物味道一般但菜量还是蛮大的,性价比一般。所以说此餐厅主营的是氛围?不值得专程前来品尝

A friend and I visited Paris for the day last month and I wanted to experience French food properly and based on reviews I booked a table here. My friend is a vegetarian and I was quite conscious to choose somewhere that would cater for her as well as myself and reviews on here suggested suitability for vegetarians a couple... More

I booked Drouant for a business dinner having seen some great reviews recently on Trip Advisor. I must say staff were great at managing the changes we made to our booking & were very accommodating. The Sommelier suggested great wines - however - The food was poor, chips tasted like they were reheated rather than fresh, my vegetarian dish was... More

Thank you for your feedback on TripAdvisor. You believed in our great reviews and you have been disappointed... Chef's loves vegetables (look at Mon Vieil Ami- Paris) how could that happened ? By chance you liked the staff attitude ! We would love having a second chance... More

Be sure to call ahead for gluten free. The staff was amazing and tended to our needs beyond expectation. The steak frites were delicious as were the scallops. A very extensive wine list.

I love the area of this restaurant and the restaurant did a good impression. It has great atmosphere both downstairs but especially upstairs. The Bar is a bit small. Service was fine but not overwhelming. Food was of average quality but because of the atmosphere i give it 4. I would come back for a romantic dinner.

I really liked it. a grand bistro with ozone tingling oysters, and simple classics done correctly. the weiner schnitzel is almost elevated compared to many by just how well it is prepared, and served correctly garnished. Drouant it is a place for feeding, not for the culinary ambitious.

An overdue review from December 2014. Recommended by the Hotel Lyric as I needed somewhere close to eat a quick quality meal that evening, so I could unfortunately return to work! I had no reservation in what was evidently a popular restaurant with "expense account" diners like myself and couples out for a special meal, however the restaurant were accommodating... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
