Go for Dave!

Behind the red velvet drapes sits Dave. A menu-less Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant. Dave was at one time the go-to celebrity spot in Paris. If you don't believe me, look at the walls. Anyone who is anyone has been there and taken a picture with Dave (the owner). Dave still takes all the orders... read more

In this beautiful vietnam chinese restaurant has acharming interior and very goog food. It is not about a gourmet three star idea. It is experience about the owner, the clients, very good really assian food. I am foodie, and this is a special evening. It us not about the compare of the food and the prices. It is about davé.

My wife and I went here on our honeymoon. We live in Miami and have many celebrity clients who recommended this restaurant as a unique experience. The owner Dave greets you right away, is a very good host that makes you feel welcome. The beauty of this place is that there is no menu, he feeds you well with the... More

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon on a recommendation from my brother in law! We were welcomed by Dave himself and seated wherever we wanted. The place has pictures of every major celebrity you can think of with Dave! There is no menu, as the reviews mention below but Dave makes sure you have a fantastic meal!Needless... More

A rip-off. Mediocre food. Messy interior. Sloppy service. Attempt to be different and it totally misfires. A must to avoid. And severely overpriced. Otherwise fine.

As a hongkonger, dim sum is for breakfast or lunch. When they serve dim sum in dinner seems strange. Anyway, food are good. Waiters are very attentive. Atmosphere is also good. But once you sit down, you can smell something like dirty socks.

My first dining at Dave probably was ten years ago. Since then, I always dine when in Paris. You do not need to choose anything from the menu... Just tell Monsieur Dave how hungry you are and what you would prefer to eat... Then the best of the kitchen will be served! Dumplings, noodle and crispy duck are highly recommended!... More

This is a very unique restaurant. We visited it during Paris fashion week. It's very busy around Paris fashion week. Dave is larger than life, he's a machine, he takes the booking, takes the orders, probably cooks. A bit of a legend. The food is ok. There is NO MENU - quite pricey but a unique, unforgettable experience, worth a... More

The walls full of all kind of celebrities that have been eating at Dave gives the place an "history", the red walls with all this pictures make the place a bit decadent but very cosy to have a diner with friends. It is expensive , but it is the price to pay to eat good asiatic food and to be... More

walking out of the Hotel Du Louvre... we typed in "Asian Food" into Google Maps... and a place called Dave popped up first, 2 mins walking away... As we approached the restaurant we wondered if it was even open, as the signage, and entrance were very underplayed. As we walked in we were greeted by who I assume was the... More
