Food was ok but aside the marinara and margherita pizzas, the rest is way too expensive. €18 for tomato pasta when in other similar Italian restaurants in Paris it'll cost between €10/13.

Asked for a pizza to share as it was €17 for a 4 cheese pizza and were told we weren't allowed! Eventually the waitress checked with her boss after being asked to and we were allowed, pizza came quickly but it was soggy and thrown at us as it arrived, we were given the bill sharpish and ushered out as... Hello M Darren, thank you for posting your comment. I am the boss of the restaurant and I have to precise that prices of the pizzas start at 9.50 € and the one you chose (4 cheese) is not 17 but 13.50€. I confirm that Da Mimmo like all restaurants proposes the main courses for one person and not for... More

I came here with a colleague on a Monday night so it wasn't very busy, but still it had a nice atmosphere. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter and ordered 2 glasses of Kir Royale to start. We then shared a bottle of prosecco that was one of the nicest I've tasted so things got off to a... More

An Italian meal you will never forget, the chef Piero is truly amazing, he invents recipes on the spot and, having tried many of them, I have never been disappointed. When you get to the restaurant ask what the chef recommends and let him do a full menu for you. If you like Italian, you will not be disappointed.

On our first afternoon we left our bags in the apartment and hopped on the Metro over to bvd Magenta for pizza at Da Mimmo. They advertise a large antipasti bar, and large it is indeed -- but needs a touch more variety (there may have been wider selection earlier -- we arrived at the close of lunch). Anyway, we... More

We were starving, but we found this little of the track place (by chance) and although it looked so-so, the food was excellent and the service fairly good. We had 3 pizza's and one spaghetti and both were good. One of the best pizza places on our entire trip. Not what we expected when we sat down......appearances can be deceiving.

The place seems authentic, but it's more theater than anything else. You don't get what you pay for. The see food was cold.

My friends and I were hugely dissapointed by this restaurant. Having seeing a review in a guidebook , we decided to test it this weekend. The déco was tacky and outdated. The prices were ridiculously high. There is a reason they do not mention the prices on their website. Minestrone soup : €18 Risotto: €39 Pasta: €34 Espresso: €3 We... More

Hello dear customer Irishitaliano, my English is not as good as yours, but anyway I will try to answer to you the best I can. You are disappointed by the prices, but those you have mentioned are not the average but the highest: risotto starts at 20 and not 39, pasta starts at 14 and not 34, soups at 12... More

Spent a week in Paris, eating twice in Da Mimmo's on Bd de Magenta. One night my wife and I had pizza, which had mascarpone, rocket and parma ham on it - my absolute favourite. The staff is very attentive and helpful. We had our 10 months baby girl with us which was no problem finding a table for us... More

The restaurant was busy and full of local people which for me positive sign. We had to wait for table awhile but employees were really nice even we did no speak French. I ate Bruchetta for starters and it tasted superb. For main course all three of us took some pizza and everyone of us were happy. It was really... More
