Quick lunch

I have already been to Cosi several times and have tried most of the sandwiches and salads, which are all of very good quality, and at a fair price level. Sometimes the sandwiches are a bit too oily - e.g. the salmon one. Nevertheless always a good idea for take-away lunch in St. Germain - and... read more

Consistently great, delicious, crispy sandwiches to carry away while you walk or eat upstairs. The line moves quickly, so don't walk away. Staff is lovely and helpful, and all speak English as well as French. Emily became our daily friend. You can have your sandwich cheerfully modified to suit your tastes. A great, healthy alternative while you're away, and perfect... More

Story checks out - great place to grab a sandwich on the go! Went straight here after an overseas flight - hit the spot!

I must admit that I'm not a big fan of what the French consider "un sandwich". But then, where I come from, roast beef with gravy (or fried oysters, shrimp or catfish), mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles on French bread was the standard - and very hard to beat. Depending on where you go in Paris, about half a baguette... More

I recently had lunch at Cosi. I got the roast beef sandwich and the tiramisu and both were great! I was excited to try this place because it's reasonably priced and close to my apartment. I'll be back!

Got here with my mom by accident. We ordered 2 "cheesy English" which where very tasty, especially because of their home backed bread. For dessert I got the "cosí Nutella", that is their crunchy bread with Nutella. 100% recommended. It's also not very expensive: ~10€ the menu (sandwich, drink and dessert). Last but not least, the attention was excellent and... More

Great food, fab service and amazing atmosphere!! Totally rate this place and cannot wait to revisit. Last time, I actually came for a glass of wine and sandwich in the evening - possibly even better vibe than at lunch?! Loved it!

The line may be long at lunch, but it moves very quickly. I really enjoyed my lunch at Cosi. I ordered the sandwhich with curried chicken and apples, which was delicious. Their bread is amazing. It was also very affordable and in a great location. I would definitely go back!!!

Buy your food and pay for it at the counter, it is then served fresh to you and then you take to your table. The staff of all nations were very friendly and efficient and the food excellent. The minted pea soup and flat bread, the sandwiches and apple crumble were a joy to eat in a friendly atmosphere. Self... More

Was it the the delicious focaccia bread? Or the refreshing Orangina? Or the unexpectedly LARGE piece of tiramisu? Friendly service? Casual ambiance? Wonderful neighborhood? Hard to believe that five of us spent a week in Paris and unanimously decided that it was one of our favorite restaurants. I highly recommend it.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
