A short walk from a Metro station, we had to see what generated the wonderful reviews, so we waited in the long line 15-20 minutes before ordering our sandwiches and beverages at the stand-up counter. Preparation was fast, and there is an upstairs area with tables and chairs where you may eat after picking up your order . The sandwiches... More

I tried this place during a mid-June trip to Paris. Although it is a casual spot, I was either the best or second best meal I had in Paris. The focaccia bread on the sandwiches is perfect. Toasted, just thick enough, crispy and delicious. There are a large amount of different filings that you can try in the sandwiches with... More

Any time we are in a hurry for a quick lunch or dinner, and are anywhere close to St. Germain des Près, we stop at Cosi. The feature is their house made bread, a kind of focaccia, very crisp and flavorful, but the sandwich fillings are fresh and lively, and the salads are hearty and healthy, all ingredients fresh and... One of my best sandvich spots in the whole European continent. Seriously. If you are in the are, please have a sandvich for me with their home made bread.

They are known for the bread, which is indeed quite good. Just don't expect any fillings! If this is Paris, it's Paris during the war, under rations. Not that cheap.

Grabbed a quick lunch here while doing Rick Steves' left bank stroll on a Sunday. "English welcome," line moves pretty well, only difficulty was not being able to see blackboard menus until almost first in line, so felt a little rushed making choices. Sat upstairs by a front window. Yummy super-fresh seasonal salad with mustardy balsamic dressing, super bread, large... More

If you are in the center of Paris and feel hungry I can only recommend trying Cosi in Rue de Seine. Located between the Siene and Bd Saint Germain just across from Louvre it's a perfect spot for lunch. Sandwich menus from 9 euros, which includes sandwich, drink and dessert - and very tasty sandwiches it is. for us it... More

Menu is very large and the sandwiches assembled quickly. Dining room tables are upstairs. The bread is really phenomenal -- some of the best I have tasted in France.

You can tell this is a popular place, because when we went at lunchtime on a Thursday, there was a line out the door. But ordering and getting our food was a quick and easy process. The sandwiches were fresh and yummy, and the desserts amazing! Even though this place was packed, it was well worth it for inexpensive, yummy... More

Stopped by here after a morning of sightseeing, and had a roast beef and a turkey sandwich. The sandwiches were pretty good on baked flat bread but the desserts were really tasty. The tiramisu and chocolate cakes were not overly sweet but rich with flavor. Also you get you food fast and English is spoken.
