We went here about 7pm on a Tuesday night in July, and the restaurant was just opening for dinner. We took a quiet table indoors. The waiter was very friendly and served us promptly. We ordered fried chicken spring rolls which were very tasty, then jumbo prawn skewers, curry chicken, and jasmine rice. It was all quite tasty and well prepared. In... More

While wandering about near our hotel, we found this excellent Thai restaurant. Our curry chicken and pad Thai dishes were excellent. Cheng Mai was a nice find after tiring from French food.

We, like others who have been in France more than a week are ready for break away food and this Thai Restaurant does the duty of taking care of that Asian Food fix. We ordered Red Curry Chicken, was just like my Evil Prince dish I always order back home. Medium hot is still mild in Paris, so gauge your... More

We typically sample the local Thai food on our travels. This is some of the best outside of Thailand. The owner is from Isaan (as is my wife), and very friendly and gave us hints in negotiating the French culture. We had the Tom Yum Plaa (spicy sour fish soup), Satay Gai (grilled chicken appetizer) and Pad Grapow Mu (stir... More

We have been eating at the Chieng Mai in Paris for 10+ years. The food has always been fresh and well prepared. Several times we have asked one of the senior waiters to order for us and make it a surprise. It has always been a great adventure as the food arrives and we dig in. We have eaten in... More

We had lunch at Chieng Mai today and enjoyed it. The restaurant had been recommended by the owners of the apartment we were renting as one of their favorites for Thai food. The ambience was pleasant and typical of a small, neighborhood Thai restaurant. We were warmly greeted on our arrival and provided with menus with both French and English... More

We had finished Louver and Notre dame in the morning and were hungry for lunch. Our Thai wifes wanted some Thai food to get back some energy. In particular they wanted Som Tam. So we found our way across the river and down the streets to Chieng Mai. Surely Thais in this restaurant as even before the menu was on... More
