On my short list of the best ever meal

Having eaten here before it was a must visit for us on this holiday. The lady we booked our apartment through very kindly booked a table for us and we are very glad we did. It was quiet when we arrived at 7.30pm but filled up very quickly. The children had the duck dish which although it had a honey... More

I went here with my boyfriend on the recommendation of our friends. It was lovely. Quite small (you NEED to book), as they only have about 10 tables. But it was quintesentially Parisian - not touristy. We had snails for starter, and the duck. If you eat meat, for god sake - HAVE THE DUCK. Delicious! French bread and wine... More

When you're the only international dining here and surrounded by the locals you know you're in for a treat. A family run restaurant, the staff speak basic english, friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well presented. I truly had a french food journey here. The fish is a must try and so are there cute cocktails.

Ok it's enjoyable, but, in the context of all the restaurants in Paris this is no great shakes. Yes the owner is charming, but the food is no better than a decent bistro in London, and even taking into account price the food is not cheap for Paris. In terms of the 3 dinners which we had in Paris this... More

This place has to be one of best dining experiences I've had. A really charming small place where the attention to detail was second to none. Friendly staff but it was the out of this world food that I'll remember. Good variety for all tastes but still French classic. A real gem finding this place and I hope to return

We stayed in Paris for 5 nights and decided to dine here on our final night and anniversary. Since we were staying in Montmartre it was easy to find- 5 mins from the Sacre Coeur. It was a small spot but very comfortable and the servers were amazing. We enjoyed the escargot, it was better than a few other places.... More

We booked, on Trip Advisor recommendations, for our wedding anniversary meal. We loved it and the bill was another peasant surprise! Very friendly staff who obviously care about food and their customers. It doesn't look much from the outside and is small, but the food was wonderful. The wine list had a great range for both price and variety. Typically... More

This restaurant, tucked away in a quiet Montmartre street, is extremely busy and obviously popular. We booked in advance which was just as well, as they were turning prospective diners away. Helpful and friendly waiters, steak cooked to perfection, food well presented, a pleasant ambience, relaxed atmosphere despite being busy.

What an amazing culinary experience at this restaurant situated on Montmartre right by the Abesses metro station. We loved every single course - from the oeuf à la cocotte to the tartare de saumon without forgetting the beef filet with Nader sauce - one of the best of my life. Absolutely recommended!

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
