Busy but very welcoming. Great food and they took time to explain the menu. Busy every night. A little pricey but well worth it.

This restaurant is across the street from our hotel and was recommended to us by the staff. We happened to drop in at lunch time and it was absolutely terrific! Simple ingredients, perfectly cooked and presented. They were out of Coq au Vin so I got the roast lamb and my husband the veal. Both dishes were outstanding. Then moments... More

Staying at the excellent hotel brea we checked out the local restaurants on tripadvisor. Two sparked an interest , moustache and Chez Marcel. We tried Moustache last night and was very impressed good service with obvious passion from the kitchen, when you enjoy the side dishes as much as the main courses something is right. Tonight we tried the 67... More

Went twice for lunch and it was perfect. Went once for dinner and it was a very different story : loud group of screaming men and the nice owner at lunch couldn't care less at dinner. Nice products, classical bistrot food but a rather limited choice of deserts. Worth a visit if you want a classical bistrot experience... at lunch... More

As a couple my wife and I visit Paris quite often. We've done the dining rounds and I can safely say that Chez Marcel is firmly in the top 5 spots we've been to. The entire evening was superb. Service was great and staff were only too happy to translate the menu where assistance was required. The wine and champagne... More

We were staying at Hotel la Six and the restaraunt is literally right across the street. It came highly recommended and we strolled across the street late one Friday night. They were fully booked but the owner (so friendly) allowed us to sit outside on the street. As it was a cold 32F outside he brought us blankets for our... More

This is one of those restaurants you always hope to find in Paris, known to locals, authentic, welcoming and with excellent food. It is tiny. Most of the patrons are seated side by side on what amounts to one long table--they are small tables but they are touching all the way down the wall, so it is basically one long... More

Grat fun and great food we loved this place and the staff who were so helpful and welcoming. Its all a bit hectic and seemingly disorganised but the food is wonderful and arrives in good time with little extras as well, cucumber sorbet with gin to clear the palate…wow!

Do yourself a favor and book a trip to Hotel Le Six and then just make sure you eat here as well. They managed to squeeze us in without reservation and I am very thankful for that :) Food was absolutely delicious (we had the escargot, sole, and some very great deserts). Yes, there is very little space between diners... More

This one room restaurant (in existence since 1919) is packed full of quirky curios. It's a tight squeeze just getting through the front door! It can't seat more than 30 so I'd recommend booking. Delightful staff, all happy to attempt English if your French isn't up to it. We both chose from the daily menu. My companion had beetroot salad... More
