Excellent menu du jour

Very much enjoyed the excellent value taste of les anges menu - five courses at a very respectable price. Excellent quality, varied menu. Good selection of wine, including a few as half bottles. Highlight was a mushroom and pheasant soup early on. Low-lit, smart, mixed business/casual clientele on... read more

Chez les Anges was a very nice experience for us. It's a smallish restaurant that serves really good food - what more could you ask for? Located in the 7th arrondissement, an easy walk from the Eiffel Tower or the Invalides. I had the prix fixe, which is an outstanding value at 36 euros (appetizer, main course and dessert), and... We had Christmas dinner at Chez Les Anges and enjoyed it so much we returned on Monday December 28th. The restaurant is elegant with candles, tablecloths, and very good service. Their prix fixe menu is a good deal, but both times we could not resist ordering our main courses a la carte (they have reasonable a la carte prices for... More

The prix-fixe dinner is only 36 Euros. The individual menu items can be more expensive, but not crazy. I had oysters (20 Euros) and loin of venison (30). Both were excellent. Attractive, relatively small, white-table, not noisy.

The menu changes with the seasons and it is always tasty. Try out the cold soup, fish and the chocolate dessert from the current menu. A good restaurant for a business lunch. A bit surprised it is not mentioned in Gault Millau all the time.

We had been longtime customers for dinner at Chez les Anges, which is located in our neighbourhood, but it had been a while since our last meal there. Thus my wife and I were worried that, like so many Paris restaurants these days, Chez les Anges might have gone downhill. But we were reassured as soon as the first course... More

My wife and I dined here on Friday, September 18. Exceptional in every way. Friendly and welcoming and unpretentious staff. A menu so varied and enticing that it was not easy deciding on what to order. Each plate brought to the table was perfect in both creative and artistic presentation, and more importantly, culinary execution, which is to say, everything... More

I am never disappointed at Chez les Anges, the food is very good, the service is very polite, everything goes well. And the price is also honest. But I can not say it is very original cuisine like for instance Pottoka which is not very far from this one. When you go, make sure to have their potato purée and... More

The dinner was just delicious: king prawns and avocado as a starter followed by sweetbreads very well cooked. The service was just average.

This restaurant is well situated in the heart of the city. The food and service are great, and the best part is... no tourists!! The 35 Euro set menu (you can order a-la-cart like a regular menu if you want) is a great value. The setting is simple but great for couples. If you get there early (around 7) you... More
