It can be hard to find a meal in Paris that lives up to your dreams -- many are overpriced, service is bad and food is far from what one imagined when planning a trip to Paris. So it was a huge and welcome surprise when every aspect of this restaurant surpassed our expectations -- the service was lovely and... More

We had a late lunch at Chez les Anges, arriving at 13h30, but with no problem from the staff. It was holiday Monday, 25 May, so quite quiet, with only a few other tables. The service was good, as was the food. The atmosphere was a little restrained, compared to other spots we went to, more upmarket perhaps. We had... More

My dad and I had high hopes for this place. While we dined at Allard earlier in the week (which was amazing!), a diner beside us highly recommended Chez Les Anges, so we booked it for our last dinner in Paris. That was a huge mistake. The place is gorgeous. It is spacious and wonderfully decorated. The service is very... More

A really nice comfortable restaurant with very good food. The service is a bit strained though. I felt that I was being rushed - I was dining on my own - which annoyed me so I strung out my first course of tuna sashimi for ages - they got the message! Service strangely disappeared at the end of the meal... More

We were served by a very friendly staff that genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. From our waiter who answered our questions with poetic passion to the sommelier who managed to guide us with relaxed and fun precision, we felt pampered in a non-stuffy way. The food? sigh. It was excellent. It looked beautiful. I've never taken a... More

We have been in Paris for 6 weeks and actually live across the street from Chez Les Anges. We go there once a week to seek refuge from the hustle and bustle of Paris. It has become our quiet oasis for lunches. This is not a rowdy bistro or a hipster's brasserie. It's fine dining at a leisurely pace. They... More

The service of this restaurant is great. Of course, the food is great as well. The restaurant firstly served with bread. Really fresh and tasty. My colleagues and I had a soup with foie gras which was absolutely fabulous. Each of us had different main dish: fish, baby pork and beef. My colleague said the cuisson (baking or roasting) was...
