Incredible View but that's where it ends

As much as I want to rate Chez Francis better I can't. Like many other reviews the food is below par, quite frankly not acceptable. We arrived at 7pm on what was our last night in Paris. Our main meals of beef fillet which wasn't a true eye fillet (more like a scotch fillet) and beef steak were... read more

This is a wonderful little place that has good food and professional service. Add to that it offers tremendous views of the Eiffel Tower. We will visit this café again.

I live in Paris, I am French. Went there after an American friend's kid baptism. This is a typical tourist trap at its best. I would even say that it is a crime a place like such stays in business... Not only it is waaaaay overpriced, but service is pretty horrible. I will remain pragmatic to the best of my... More

If you see Jean Giraudoux's play, The Madwoman of Chaillot, you know that this is the setting for the first act. It was featured in the (dreadful) film verison starring Katherine Hepburn, and it's exactly as described in the script, in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. It's also across the street from Pont de Alma, where the beloved Princess... More

Most reviews talk about the price but this a well located restaurant with views on the Eiffel tower so you obviously pay for that. The food is good, the Caesar salad was a delight as well as the Girardau oysters. The Bresse chicken was succulent, the sole muniere was well prepared.

Having eaten at Chez Francis dozens of time over the years, they were recently sold and renovated. This renovation only deteriorated the restaurant quality from a 9/10 to a 4/10. Our party of 8 arrived early and on time, the restaurant was empty and showed no signs of being full, yet we were seated at the entrance by the door,... More

An excellent location to sit back along the sidewalk and watch the night show put on by the Eiffel Tower. Sit back with a lovely glass of Red and watch the world go by.

Agree with all reviews before , so upset with my meal, I got veal. It was big piece covering whole plate, and I ask waiter for not big meal. He recommended to choose veal. No food presentation, no sauce , taste just ok. Great view of Effel Towel though

Great location, great view but the service is very slow and not enougt waiters. They forgot everyone's order and charge you anyway eventhough they did not bring it to you. The view is worth going therefore make sure to only go for drinks otherwise you will stay hungry

We walked for ages searching for a restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower.... And we found it! It looks quite fancy and the 6 of us sat down in excitement. The restaurant outdoor area is divided into 'drinks only' section and dining section. The drinks area has the best view but the dinner area still excellent too. The... More
