this cafe specializes in seafood, so stick with it. The outdoor space is insulated from traffic and from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area, and it has one of the few remaining public water fountains in Paris at the entrance.

We have been Chez Clement regulars in their various locations for years, but this one has been the most disappointing one out of all of them so far. The food was quite good, but we were seated next to 5 dirty tables with the food leftovers of previous guests, which clearly wasn't very pleasant while eating. The prawn head lying... More

We had all an odyssey at this place. We asked for a table, one of the waiters seated us. Nobody gave us the menu, so we asked for it, he gave it to us, and that was all for 20 minutes. Two of us went to the bathroom while waiting. At one point the guy who sat us told his... More

Hungry hot and tired; we were pleased to find seats outside this restaurant under some shady trees. We should have kept walking! The food was dreadful, our waitress was pleasant however the manager was rude and unapologetic. My daughter was on a quest for French onion soup after a disappointing experience elsewhere and had to send it back again- this... More

I don't usually write reviews but I feel compelled in this case. This is a review for our experience on 7/24/2014. It could have been a good experience but it was not. Our waitress was so rude we almost ended up having an argument with her. So we left even though we were quite hungry after a long day of... More

That was our first restaurant visit i Paris. It was quite disappointing. I took grilled chicken with fries and it wasn't good. My boyfriend wanted to take dish with different types of seafood, when he got it the lobster was missing (witch was the main ingredient). He asked the waiter who couldn't speak english. Than finally found someone who could,... More

I was there yesterday evening with American friends. They brought my main dish, a seafood plateau, mixed with their starters while I had made it clear that I will not eat a starter. My meal was consumed by my friends as a starter. Not a word of apology. Minimum service. I strongly recommend to avoid the place which is a... More

I was visiting Saint Michel area when i saw this place. I tasted the traditional beuf bourginon, which is a typical Parisian dish. It was mouthwatering. The next day i tried the mixed grill dish which is a combination of pork, beef and chicken, it was great too. The profiterol is a must to try.

We come to Paris on a regular basis and we know you don't have to put up with this experience. If you look at the cafe right next door you can see better faster service and more atmosphere with happier customers. This is where service being included with the bill just doesn't encourage the waiters to try at all, sorry.... More
