Easter Sunday brunch

Most recent reviews have been right on the money regarding the brunch at Chez Casimir. We booked for 11am and enjoyed everything here. The wine cellar is wonderful - you walk into a room and choose from a nice selection, clearly priced. We had been told we would need to be out by 1pm. This was... read more

After eating at Georges at the Pompidou and Joel Robuchon's temple to haute cuisine, neither of those meals were as stirring as the prix fixe at Chez Casimir. For 32 euros you get a few choices which rotate daily. I went with veal tongue terrine, whole mackerel with braised cabbage, stewed prunes with creme fraiche and the obligatory assiette de... More

Tucked away in a side street, this is used by locals, providing really good traditional French food at a very low price. Inclusive menu for 4 courses, including Demi carafe wine for less than 50 euros pp. (The wine was house red, and not very good, actually, so if I went again, I would pay for a better bottle).

Don't normally go for the all-you-can-eat option but was needed to eat something good on a Saturday morning before taking the Eurostar. Very pleasant surprise. Quaint little place with super friendly staff. You go into the well-stocked cave and choose your own wine. The buffet is top notch: salads, bread, fruits de mer, sourdough bread, meats, baked cheese. You get... More

After try several brunches in Paris, I think the concept of Brunch is overvalorated, is not posible that you pay between 25 and 30 euros and you are hungry after 3 hours, well, in Chez Casimir is not the case, food here is really good, deserts are fantastic, and the service tres correct, is better to do reservation especially if... this is a fantastic french restaurant, serving traditional french food that is so tasty and fresh! This restaurant is off a little side street and does not look overly appealing from the outside but don't let that put you off! The food and wine is great and great value, 32 euros for 4 course - starter, main dish, cheese board... More

Found this place in Time Out. We came on a Sunday and got what seemed like the last table. The cold buffet is very good, the hot food was good, service was a bit slow but all in all really enjoyed the food at this trendy Parisian place. 3 min walk away from Gare du Nord yet not touristic.

This is a wonderful place. The food is gorgeous, well prepared and most importantly tasty. The very best of French cuisine come out of the kitchen at Chez Casimir. I came her some years ago and had booked a nearby hotel this time for a 3 days stay. We ate at Chez Casimir every day (lunch and dinner) and did... More

We found the restaurant by some foodie blogs. The place is fairly close to Paris Nord. It was €32/4courses. We enjoyed every single course. It was very classico, tasty but not to heavy. Food was all seasoned very well. Staff were friendly and speak very good English. Highly recommended.

I am a foodie, traveling a lot, speaking enough languages, regularly returning to Paris, and chez Casimir. Eating at both chez Michel and Chez Casimir frequently, I particularly value their week-end brunch formula - a wonderfully authentic array of country food, with Breton touches. But what I notice lately is a 'taken-for-granted' attitude towards many customers. My latest experience was... More
