full french menu at night

Our hotel personal recommended this place for dinner. We tried and it was really a good choice. Great service, also in English. We tried the full french menu (starter/soup-main plate-chees board-dessert). The value was OK. Quality of food also good.

Food is excellent, good cooking and thoughtful preparation and presentation. Head waitress speaks excellent english and there is a menu for the set 4 course meal in English or French for 32 euros starting. They did smaller children's portions for us and charged proportionally like 10 euros a head. I asked for a beer and it was a ocal craft... More

My family of three adults spent a recent Sunday afternoon enjoying the food and wine. The food was great and the desserts were lovely. The wine prices were very reasonable. The place isn't much from the outside, but the food is worth it. You can make reservations.

This was easily one of our favourite restaurants ever in Paris. The staff are so friendly and can all speak great English, the menu is all fresh and homemade and on a type of set menu but with 5 varying courses for amazing value. The course before the pudding is a phenomenal cheese board. The options are great as they... More

After reading good reviews on here I visited Chez Casimir over the weekend. The food and service were very average. I was told to keep my cutlery in between meals as the chef would have to wash it and was also told to go get my own plate. The "buffet" was something me or my gran could have done a... More

Second visit and still a delight. A small fantastically unfussy bistrot which could not be more different from the tourist restaurants in front of the station. Menus on hand written boards, uncomplicated food and fantastic value. Find me another place in Paris where they give you four courses for €32 (£25) and leave a huge cheese board on your table... Went there on a Sunday for brunch and was not disappointed at all! Everything is home made and super fresh. It was actually more a lunch than a brunch as there is a set menu with 2 buffets: savory and sweet. So worse the 28 euros! Definite recommend and would go again. That chocolate mousse....

Visited this restaurant on a warm, humid evening. Not a table to be had for love nor money outdoors, but empty inside. They serve a 4-course menu for 32euros which is really excellent value. We had carpaccio of haddock (very nice), I had a rascasse fillet (very good) and my friend a black Angus steak (which he said was excellent).... More

Get off the Eurostar, walk round the corner and tuck into a very tasty brunch washed down with good wine. The staff were very friendly and helpful as we were a bit clueless on how the Parisian brunch works (it really means buffet lunch if you've not encountered it before). Lots of delicious food and such a jolly and convivial... More

My husband and I have recently returned from a four night stay in Paris. We ate out for lunch and dinner every night, and I have to say that out meal at Chez Casimir was by far THE BEST!! We were greeted very warmly by the host and made to feel very welcome in this typical Parisian bistro. The menu... More
