We are long standing fans of Chez Michel, the near adjacent restaurant under common ownership. We also enjoyed our lunch at Chez Casimir and the scallops (Coquille St Jacques) were beautifully presented (attached). The soup was very generous - an enormous tureen was left for us to help ourselves, and similarly the cheeseboard.

This is probably the worst brunch of the century, so far. Chez Casimir is a hot spot for "bobos", the "bourgeois-bohème" parisians. Reservation is a must, lots of urban legends on how exceptionnal the place is. The seasnails (bulots) were full of sand, the cheese (vacherin) was already ended at 12.45 PM and was never replaced, only one type of... More

Super little restaurant yards from Gare de Nord, perfect for lunch before getting 4.13 Eurostar home. Good brasserie food, soups especially good, best to book as frequented by local business people.

So pleased we found this little restaurant. Ideally located so close to Gard du Nord and yet not a tourist in site! Fabulous French bistro food and the most exceptional cheese board. In fact I could just have had that! Will definitely be back...

Whilst staying in the Gare du Nord we searched on Timeout for best brunches in Paris and Chez Casimir was recommended. Tucked down a little side street, it has a great view of a beautiful church. We had their Sunday brunch menu which was a tasty delight of salads, quiches and other savoury treats. The enormous bake camembert they served... More

We got a table without any reservation. It is one of the minority of restaurants thay are open on a Monday night. The chalkboard had a good variety of seafood and some game dishes. They all sounded tempting. The food we got was nothing fancy and the ingredients seemed fresh even if the taste did not impress as much as... More

Was staying in a hotel nearby and saw the restaurant while walking to the station during the day and thought it looked welcoming. Arrived about 21.00 with no reservation and it was very full but got a table, lucky us. Typical French bistro service a bit of a hurry to go slow... They have a menu board the get passed... More

We made a huge mistake. We stayed in an apartment on Rue de Belzunce for a week, and only came here on our last night!! Rookie mistake! Seriously though, the food was excellent, a little different, generous, and not overpriced. The six of us ranged across the menu and nobody was disappointed, however, I felt I won the prize for... Fantastic food very fresh and well prepared. Desert (cheese platter) was fenomenal! Very friendly staff. A somewhat 'hidden' place in Paris for which a visit and 'detour' is definitely worth it!! Highly recommended. Will revert there without doubts next time we'll be in Paris.
