Surprisingly amazing

I didn't intend to go there but to the opposite restaurant - since we didn't book in the other one that I started to hate for many reasons - I decided to try chez andre.. Though we had no booking and hotel was packed they managed to set a table. Food was a blast, we were 4 persons and took... read more

A good range of menu - typical French Bistro. It is adequate rather than special. We felt it was pricey but because it was around the corner from our hotel, it was an easy stop on the way home.

First night of four in Paris, my husband had booked us in for dinner. To me, traditional French Restaurant with the typical ambience, lots of different languages and people around, busy staff with the restaurant filling up quickly. I was disappointed In the choice of starters but the main mean of scallops was fantastic and the wine was lovely. Tables... More

We have visited this restaurant many times and it is always good. Their oysters are impeccable and the food fresh and nicely served. I cannot fault this restaurant, they deserve the following they have. Always packed and a great buzzing atmosphere and of course a fantastic location.

Given where this restaurant is located, you can rest assured that it has to serve a lot of non French. The ambiance is very Fresh and actually reminds me of one of those Woody Allen movies in Paris! All around us everyone was speaking English, clearly louder than if they were French! That is usual! The selection is limited and... More

I go to this restaurant often when in Paris and had very good meals in the past. Is the typical charming French Bistro. Sorry to say the quality of the food is not there anymore. Last time I had a Blanchette d' Beauf plate of the day and it was disgraceful. Very thick sauce with lost of flour and bad... More

I visited Chez Andre for the first time way back in 2010, and have remembered their chocolate and salted caramel parfait desert ever since as one of the best! I was really surprised to see so many negative reviews on trip advisor - maybe people need to understand that you get what you pay for. Our experience of Chez Andre... More

On the plus point its not too expensive and it used to be OK. Food is average and you can get a menu in a lot of languages - that tells you a lot!. This is just for tourists. The one thing to mention is the service which must be the worst in Paris. Truly I have never had worse... More

Very nice ambience, friendly waiters and good straightforward food. A bit crowded ( but could be perceived also as contributing to the friendly atmosphere)
