A veteran. A couple of blocks off the Champs Elysees in a pleasant smart street. Corner location with its fresh seafood on display outside and a typical wood decor with tables lining the windows facing the street - very inviting on a good day but it was too cold for us. Inside a classic brasserie decor: high ceilings, mirrors, cool... More

I was really excited about going to this Paris institution. I had read great trip advisor reviews and our hotel concierge recommended it. Either we completely missed the mark or the restaurant was having a bad night. I think the latter. We were the second table to arrive for dinner. The waitress was friendly and efficient even supplying my husband... More

At least 10 years since I had been, and I wanted to see if they still had the lentil salad on the menu. Yes, it was there and almost as good as I remembered it. Unfortunately I missed out on the calf's liver as it was a Monday and they did not have a delivery of veal. That was my... More

We ate here for lunch on New Years Day around 4pm. We had a cute little table outside the cafe on the street with an overhead heater so it was comfortable. It was very nicely laid out, with a crisp tablecloth, linens and cutlery. We ordered quiche lorraine which was delicious and was very filling for a lunch, and also... More

I dined here with the recommendation of my hotel concierge and admittedly it was NewYear's Day and thus the choice of available restaurants was limited. The menu consisted of lots of classic bistro standards which if done well can be delicious. We shared duck fois gras for an entree, it arrived too cold and with untoasted stale bread - this... More

Our Hotel recommended this restaurant and we were very pleased that they did! The food was very tasty, wine was good and all the staff we're very friendly and welcoming. If we ever come back to paris we would love to come back here.

We ate here for the second time in this year on another Paris holiday and were not disappointed. My daughter just loves the escargot here and frogs legs! The service is prompt without rush, the staff are friendly and helpful if you don't speak French ( my daughter can speak French but I was able to observe them with other... More

This is a place that is best described as a classical example of the French Bistro. Every evening it fills up quickly and in December that's with locals. It is also the only place we've ever known that offers chateau brand for one rather than for two. That was great for us as we do not enjoy our steak cooked... More

When you are directly across from le Relais de l'entrecote, a very reputable steak place, you either step up or change your menu to seafood. Chez Andre has stepped up. Three for dinner, with two of us having a chateaubriand. Chateaubriand was delicious and perfectly cooked to medium rare. The third person had a well done burger, so hey, what... More

Our hotel recommended this bistro, so we tried Chez André. The personell was rude and gave us a table on a cold spot, the stew and the chateau Briand were poor quality and full of fat. They were served within 5 minutes after ordering. We were able to have one quick piece of the bread. After that we ordered the... More
