A restaurant right out of late 1800's Paris. A long line but it moved quickly. Classic French meals at very reasonable prices in a fantastic old school setting. A must on a trip to Paris.

Introduced to this restaurant some years ago - one steps back in time. The restaurant was opened in 1896 and because there was no money for renovations this restaurant remained held in time. Now it is a listed building. The interior is very atmospheric. The staff are highly trained - best waiters in town. Food is good. Atmosphere enchanting. I... More

A friend and I went for dinner midweek - there was no queue on our arrival and yet, to our surprised, we were seated between 2 French couples. I understand the need to keep tables for groups of 4 or 6 but when the restaurant is relatively quiet why not seat us at another empty grouping and allow these 2... More

Probably one of the tastiest, least expensive meals we had in Paris. It is a packed noise house - contrary to most French restaurants were folks are more reserved and quiet. Wish we had found it sooner and avoided some costly, salty, bad meals (specifically made for tourist!)

and went for the experience. Don't. It was good service and the 'experience' I don't get. There was nothing out of the ordinary. The food was Shoney's grade AT BEST. The line did move fast but that is the only positive. There are a ton of other places to experience when in Paris, don't bother with this place, although it's... More

Went in 2012 & went back for more in 2014. Lovely food (I recommend the duck) Really quick service. Friendly, helpful staff on both occasions. Traditionally French. Limited menu - presumably for speed & to keep costs low Not the ideal place for a sit down & chat meal. The service is so quick to keep turning customers around to... More

We ate dinner, leave aside the fact that you need to stand in a big cue, the food is bad, really bad. We ordered for main course a fish and a beef steak. The fish was less than ok and the beef was inedible! Save your money and go somewhere else, even McDonald's. Yes it is reasonably cheap for that... More

This is a great value restaurant - the 00s of people who eat here every day cant be wrong. We went about 7.00pm and were seated immediately.'There was a good variety of dishes on the menu and the service was quick but not rushed. There was a lively buzz about the place as well. Three courses each for 3 adults... More

It´s a mass production restaurant. So it´s good to go there to have a quick and cheap meal in a well known location in Paris. The plates are good but not spectacular. Althought the meal can be quick, it´s possible that you can wait a long time for the check. The waiters can be quite busy with so many customers.
