On a rainy night the Camille welcomed us with excellent traditional food. Not cheap, but of great quality. We had the onion soup and the filet and shared a great apricot pie, all washed down with very good pouilly fumee. Service was superb and it looked like many of the diners were locals and were treated with respect by the... More

Well, we found this place thanks to TripAdvisor and it was really a fantastic surprise! Coozy bistrot, with a super friendly series of waiters that suggested us fantastic food. We had soup and a dish of mixed charcuterie as starter; but the core were the mains: splendid duck con fit and even better veal kidneys rosted. To come back soon!

I've actually been to this place for lunch a couple of years ago but for this visit we hired the Boris bikes (can't remember the Parisian name for them) and rode from where we were staying (near Le Louvre) over to Le Marais to go there for Sunday Brunch (on a hangover - see my review of Le Hanger). It's... More

We had coffee, lunch and dinner here for various reasons and agree with others that this is the ideal Paris bistro. The service is above average for this type of restaurant and the food is what is should be; served appropriately cooked, fast and hot. A cut above the average for sure and definitely recommended

Marvellous pit stop on a cold December day. In the Marais and close to the Picasso Museum, Pompidou Centre and the Place des Vosges. Two courses for 25 euros. We had vegeatable soup and then duck breast with mash, and steak & chips.......everything was really well cooked and tasty - great chips, lovely steak with just the house butter on... More

Now been 3-4 times. Consistently good bistro style food and always friendly helpful staff and very good service (if anything a bit too fast). Nothing particularly inventive about the food, but basics done very well be it steak béarnaise, calves liver, etc. Unlike many Paris Bistro's very happy to swap potatoes for vegetables, add a free salad, whatever. Never seems... More

Camille is a charming bistro in the heart of the Marais and a short walk from the Musee Picasso. We walked I at lunchtime on a Satursay without a reservation and were able to get a table but it was very busy with locals and I would advise booking in advance. Traditional bistro fare but good nonetheless and Le Menu... More

Were wandering around the Marais and searched for lunch spots and this appeared. Sat inside, Perfect French lunch, food and atmosphere! Had delicious traditional dishes. Ambiance was so good. A few days later we went back to Marais for something and sat on their sidewalk table. Same great moment and experience. Highly recommend.

It was our last night in Paris, we had been walking in the rain and stumbled upon this gem. The staff were extremely kind and happy to please. The food was delicious. It was a wet Monday night and we were very happy to be with the locals at this, age-appropriate for us, (quiet) Marais gem.

When approaching Camille residents of the UK should not be put off by the similarity between its deep rouge external colour scheme and that of a well known chain of weak imitators on British high streets. We chose this this street corner gem as a meeting place for a pre-lunch aperitif without properly looking at it, in the likelihood that... More
