Good food, poor service.

The omelette with herbs was good. Atmosphere and decor were also nice and the view was nice (louver pyramid) even tho the outdoor tables were full we had to sit inside. But the lady who served us was rude and with high voice.

Tranquil and expensive, pretentious and beautiful. Paris in a nutshell! Its a great view in a beautiful spot and somehow seems removed from the tourist buzz below. Share a bottle with a loved one and if you pick your seat just right, you'll get a view of the Eiffel tower too!

We chose the Marly based on the location, the potential view and the on-line menu for a Monday lunch. (Daytrip from Bedford, England by train) The main attraction was being able to eat within the environs of the Louvre, and Café Marly is fitted in very cleverly. We took the precaution of booking on line, and were expected. Whilst we... More

FABULOUS view of the Louvre whilst lit up at night. Was a romantic setting. The food was a little pricey but was expected given he location of the restaurant but was delicious! Very kind waiter -Martin who was very happy to help us and give us ideas of where to go! Definitely a must go to restaurant, especially for couples!

This restaurant is part of Le Louvre and is a fun place to sit and watch all the people come and go from the museum. We ordered hamburgers. They were ok but we ordered them medium well and they were definitely rare. They are so busy (at least in July) that it takes a long time to get your food.... More

We've heard all the stories and read the reviews of how Cafe Marly is over priced and the service is sub par. But our first time 2 years ago, we decided to ignore it and just give it a try ourselves...thank goodness! We were seated right away WITHOUT reservations outside. We ordered various items: pasta, filet, fish, Thai curry fish... More

Came here for a birthday breakfast. Fabulous table on the terrace with lovely view. Super omelettes and coffee, service a little slow but we were in no rush. Great start to the day

We sat outside on a beautiful day, enjoyed a great lunch. The restaurant over looks the Louvre Pyramid, but when you're sitting you don't see the crowds just the surrounding upper floors of the museum exterior. Service was good with a team approach, food was delicious. It's probably 25% too pricey, but it was worth while for us and it... More

Yes its position is great, on the terrace over-looking the Louvre glass triangle, but the blonde female maitre'D is just plain rude, no respect for customers, poor service and very expensive drinks etc. They try and cram people in with quick turnover.

This restaurant has, sadly, become all about the view. It's a great view. But, it's a terrible restaurant. Let me relate three incidents to illustrate that point. 1. We ordered a bottle of white wine which was kept chilled to the side of the table. After our glasses had been empty and unfilled for 20 minutes, I reached over and... More
