Went to Cafe Marly for an early evening drink, despite it being largely empty, we were informed that there were no free tables. After pointing out to the not so charming lady that there were 20 or more 2 person tables free she reluctanctly led us the length of the restaurant to a table in the far corner and then... More

been there for lunch, dinner and breakfast. Very average service. Few days ago breakfast was embarassing. Servers very unfriendly and bad croissants. Very pricey as usual... no way I'm going back again. You can get a nice breakfast at starbucks which is very close, at least you got a smile and don't spend a fortune (2 coffe 1 orange juice... More

Excellent food, in a beautiful, elegant setting. The waiters are chosen more for their model looks than for their ability to serve efficiently! :-)

Overlooking the Louvre's glass pyramid (does it get any more glorious?), a raised terrace with Paris' friendliest staff provides a really delicious array of interesting food, great wine and warm atmosphere. I turned up with 2 labradors to meet with a friend's daughter for a long-last catch-up. To provide enough space for 2 people and 2 dogs, we were given... More

We were planning on touring the Louvre but were dissuaded by the impending weather (not to mention the long line) and instead found ourselves in front of Cafe Marly. Although appearing a bit intimidating given its location in one of the Louvre's corridors, we found the waitstaff to be both friendly and engaged and responsive to our requests. We were... More

Make a reservation and you get treated wonderfully. This was a splurge lunch and well worth it if you want to see or be seen, rub elbows with the beautiful people, or soak in the amazing view. Be forewarned: it is very expensive and though the plates are beautiful to behold and delicious, the portions are very, very small. Lunch... More

After a busy morning at the louvre this restaurant is a convenient place to relax and eat. The right table gives you a beautiful view of the louvre and the decor is wonderful too. The waitresses are attentive and attractive, so overall service is very good. Our good was pricey but delicious. Portions are small but well presented and each... More

We booked Cafe Marly cox it is recommended by Lonely Planet, and is right at Louvre so we don't need to walk far to look for restaurants when we are already tired from touring inside Louvre. Cafe Marly is just right outside the pyramid and it was a savior for us. We ordered simple food like pasta, club sandwiches only... More

Nothing is more beautiful than to enjoy a coffee at Marly and admire the Louvre. And after a few hours to visit, surely you can not ask for more.

You definitely come to cafe marly for the location and perfect view of the louvre. Don't come here for fantastic food or reasonable prices. We enjoyed 2 glasses of champagne and 2 salads for 83€ which is definitely pricey but you could easily just come for a coffee/drink to enjoy the surroundings! We both enjoyed it for the experience. Overall... More
