Description: The Counts of Crillon's former ballroom now hosts a gastronomic restaurant, acknowledged to be one of the best dining venues in the city. The place is grand and majestic, impressive in its scope as well as in the splendour of its Louis XV decoration, performed at the time by architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel: marble marquetry made of six different varieties, sumptuous crystal chandeliers, frescoes on the ceiling. In 2011, the restaurant has received its first Michelin star, awarded to its young and talented Chef Christopher Hache and his team.

There are few restaurants in the world that are as impressive, opulent, and formal as this one. The decor is reminiscent of a grand room at Versailles. Service is impeccable, and the food is arranged like art on a plate. This is truly a place to celebrate a very special occasion, and have a memory that you will enjoy for... More

On the recommendations of a number of friends and work colleagues, I visited this establishment on my recent visit to Paris. What a great place, beyond my wildest expectations. You must try their set menu in order to experience the different flavours their food has to offer. A must.

We ate here on our last night in Paris, having taken advantage of an offer from la fourchette to have a 3-course meal without paying a la carte prices. Every part of the meal was perfect, from the start to end and I would have happily paid full price, especially for the main course of beef. The carpaccio of Kobe... More

Possibly the most elegant of all dining rooms in any city - with a service standard that issecond to none. Our last evening was the end of an era and the hotel de Crillon is now closed for rennovations until end 2015! In the meantime, Chef Chistophe Hache is touring the world to share his cuisine and further develop his... More

This is a really special place due to the atmosphere, service and high quality of food. It is not cheap, but it is worth the price or your euro. A wonderful place to take guests from out of town for that "Parisienne" experience at an affordable price. Very pleasant staff.

Everything u can expect from a world renowned historical place with first class food and service. It has everything that comes with a 2-star Michelin place (used to be 3stars). Unfortunately it’s closed for renovation until 2015 along with the Crillon hotel it’s located in. I’m sure the newly-renovated place will be even more beautiful and breathtaking, possibly getting its... More

I took my fiancee to Les Ambassadeurs for her birthday and we selected the taster menu with matching wines. Each course was excellent and the wine matched well. At the end of the meal they brought out a specially created birthday dessert which was unexpected even though I had mentioned the birthday when booking. Service was discreet throughout but attentive... More

The dining room is opulent, the food was very good (not outstanding) and the service was what you would expect in a restaurant of this standard. However, I thought it was hugely over priced. To charge 24 euros for 2 double espresso's is ridiculous!!! The restaurant knows it's clientele and abuses it. There are better places to eat in Paris... More

Probably the most beautiful restaurant I have ever eaten! As a starter I had the lobster. For main the fish with the MOST delicious sauce ever! And the desert was a Poire Belle Helene. My friend and I were extremely happy and impressed by the culinary experience. The service was very personalised and excellent overall. I am VERY upset on... More

I stayed in Crillon last month and dined in the restaurant. Overall very disappointing. The hotel and dining room are stunning, no complants. The menu was very limited and what I had lacked any wow factor you would expect from a michelin star restaurant. The lobster starter was bland, the avocado guacamole had no flavour. The main course was served... More
