...think twice before ordering the lentils! We trusted our tourist guide again and had dinner in this cozy but pretty elegant restaurant. Inspired by the guide's suggestions and by a table of cheeses near the entrance, we decided our starters: mix of cheeses and lentils salad. Now, we have to say: we read great comments about this lentils salad so... More

Wonderfull place, kindness and courtesy. Excellent food. I tried the Ham from Auvergne, Roast Duck Breast with aligot and Chocolate Mousse...what can I say? Every single dish was an incredible experience of taste and good feelings. Good price. Strictly recommended! Federico from Italy

This restaurant is well within the Creme de la Creme of Paris. Beautiful Auvergne cooking complimentedby friendly if a tad brisk service. And you might want to ask your waitresse about portion size, as they do vary.

Auvergne must be a cold place considering the characteristics of its cuisine, but if you stroll around Paris in winter and feel like sitting in a cosy warm place, welcomed by very nice people and eating some very filling and delicious food...this is the place. I have often shown up, alone or with a partner, and always found a table... More

Some interesting dishes, like their pig trotters with parsley and garlic, sausages and agolit (cheesy mash potatoes). The staff there speak English, but are extremely reluctant to.

The food was good but the service was disappointing to say the least. The waiter was rude and arrogant, behaving as if we did not know how to dine out. He did not bring the champagne we ordered and insisted that it was we who had made a mistake. If he had presented the bottle at the table as is... More

This is a restaurant that makes country cooking the king. Their aligot, mash potato, is divine. Creamy and cheesy. The aligot is brought to the table in the copper pan and beaten and stretched to show it is right. The chocolate mousse is said by my wife to be the absolute best. This is beautiful simple cooking at it's best... More

Don't get me wrong...I liked the setting and the food....but it did not stand out compared to other French restaurants we visited.

We selected this restaurant because of a recommendation from famous author/chef Patricia Wells (Food Lover's Guide to Paris), and the fact that it was open on Sunday night. We were a group of 6 Americans. Previous reviews had stated that the restaurant was mostly populated by Americans and other non-Parisians.........now I understand why. This food was uninspiring and stodgy. The... More

This place is quite famous in Paris, probably because it calls to be the embassy of a very gastronomical region in France, Auvergne. It is also a nice design located in the heart of Paris where you don't have many real good restaurants. You can have three menus at 33 euros which represent a fair deal. If you want to... More
