Ate here with my family (two older teens) again after several years. Service and meal were absolutely outstanding. Wonderful authentic food from Auvergne, which tends to be a little heavier than our norm, but fantastic. Don't miss the cheesy mashed potatoes and the Shepard's pie. Will definitely be coming back

A little surprised to see a few negative reviews recently. My last visit in April was superb as usual. The waiting staff in my experience are invariably attentive and will happily explain any dish, although there is an English menu. The puy lentil salad, aligot and duck breast are fantastic, although they were I have to say a little less... More

We found this restaurant on some website that listed those which are open for lunch and went accordingly to enjoy a warm meal at about 12am. It was open but the manager was soon to announce us at in a very rude manner that the restaurant is not open and we should go. Just that. We will not be back... More

Wonderful regional French food and a great atmosphere. Friendly staff with some good wine suggestions to go with our dinner. Try the absinthe!

This place was wonderful. We both started with green lentils cooked with bacon. We have cooked lentils many times ourselves and will have to figure out how the cook infused them with the bacon flavor and left them crisp. Then I had a country sausage and she had lamb. Both were very flavorful and were served with the most delightful... More

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel, whom I contacted before our trip. The food was very French Rustic. Definitely no frills but extremely tasty and superb staff. They were extremely proud of their cheesy mashed potato, which they brought out to show everyone who came in, and in tasted superb. Would definitely eat here again. We... More

Cute bistro with unique aligot side dish (mashed potatoes with cheese and garlic). Delicious steak and sausages. Kind and helpful services. Their chocolate mousse is in our top ten all-time favorite desserts anywhere! A must-try!!!

I'd become a great fan of this restaurant after 5 or so memorable visits. This last one was disappointing. I'd made our reservation a month in advance, but on arrival I was not offered a separate table. I was shown to the communal table in the back and when I asked if a separate table was available, I was informed... More

I travelled solo for 5 weeks throughout Europe and most nights had dinner at a restaurant in the location I was staying. Ambassade D'Auvergne was around the corner from the apartment I was staying at in Rue Saint Martin and I went there on the 30 December 2013. They are famous for their Aligot and I love Aligot so there... More
