They don't take reservations and there is usually a line but it moves quickly. Get on the list and have a glass of Champagne while you wait for your table. The Foie Gras was delicious and my wife loved her beef stew. If you can get a table downstairs or one of the two in the middle upstairs you will... More

The deviled eggs are just wonderful. While the lobster ravioli was great - it was one ravioli! The chicken was flavorful. I had the veal chop with beans and it was crispy on the outside and so very tasty on the inside with a sauce to use the great French bread soaking up! The service was good but it is... More

Food was very good and price was reasonable. They do not take reservations, so there was a line. We waited about 20-30 min at most.

I've been writing mostly good review about places in France but this place is one of the worst one we went to. I'm surprised after seeing all the other review. Maybe because we went in to have a couple of drinks. There were 2 bartenders behind the bar and 2 wait staff coming and going and the guy next to... More

We stopped for lunch at Cafe Constant while walking to the Eiffel Tower during a recent trip to Paris. The restaurant was quite crowed; it's obviously very popular. Nevertheless, we were seated after only a few minutes wait. We're glad we waited. The food is very good to excellent. I ordered a comfit of rabbit with a mushroom soup as... More

Loved this restaurant. We went for an early diner after going to the Eiffel Tower. The food was wonderful and included very well executed cafe classics.

We were fortunate to get in with no wait here after a Paris acquaintance recommended this restaurant. Great food and service at a reasonable price. Loved the stuffed squab with foie gras and vegetables. The profiteroles w/ ice cream drenched in chocolate sauce is not to be missed.

We were in Paris in October and the Constant was recommended to us by a local restaurant/bar manager. He told us they did two seatings a night and if we hurried we would make the first seating. There were three of us and we cabbed it to the restaurant. When we arrived it was about 6:30 and there place was... More

Knowing there would be a line we went at 7:30 and had a 20 minute wait which was reasonable. Our table of 4 was seated promptly after 20 minutes. Unfortunately there was a regular customer with her small dog at the table adjacent to us and my DH is allergic to dogs. We were with a couple who are Parisian... More
