We went there for dinner on our last night. It wasn't anything special and you can find better dining options in the area. There wasn't much of an atmosphere or service

Although the food was good and reasonably priced, the price of the wine was truly shocking. We were charged ?24 for a pichet, a half litre of very basic red wine. When we complained that this was, pro rata, much more expensive than many of the wines in bottle, the manager completely lost his cool and was incredibly rude to... More

It's in northern Paris near Montmartre and is owned by a former actor and former architect. On arrival, the place was empty. But it was only 6.45pm. I had the duck breast which came with an amazing red currant sauce. The wine suggested was perfect, with the service both attentive and relaxed. Dessert was a crepe with creme Anglais. Perfect.... Pleasant cafe in the area we always stay. Nice atmosphere, some interesting takes on dishes and Agee with reviews that like the wine list and pricing. Easy access from several metro stops and close to but not surrounded by the attractions on up the hill. Usually a fun crowd.

We enjoyed a great first meal in Paris at Cafe Burq. We went here based on a recommendation from the Eyewitness Top 10 Paris book. There were three of us and we tried beef and pear skewers and the Burq burger which were all delicious. We also had appetizers as well as wine and beer and the total price was... More

We ate at Cafe Burq in Montmartre in May and enjoyed it. The food was different, e.g. quina and chicken. It was simple and very tasty. The wine list was fabulous and cheap! Plus the cafe was only a few blocks from the Abbesses metro stop.

We had an enjoyable meal here, with my brother's family who live in Paris. He warned in advance that the service could be indifferent and poor, but the food was good. The latter was spot on, excellent Snail starter and meaty kebab afterwards. Criticism with the kebab was that it was only cooked to rare, not to everyone's taste and... More

Bustling little cafe on a quiet side street on the way up to Sacre Couer. Food was excellent, service to match. Baked Camembert was outstanding, in a sticky, fruity sauce. Nicely private too, despite the buzz, so if you are looking for a romantic, local dinner, this is a great place. Not v far from Blanche Metro station, 10-ish minutes... More
