This small restaurant it is a peace of art, own and operated by Philippe Faure - Brac, winner of the price of better sommelier of the world in 1992, and an amazing sponsor. The food was excellent consider by the 5 that where in the table.

We had a 3 course dinner with beautifully matched wine, served by Mona who was attentive and friendly. We learnt a lot and were wowed by her wine expertise. Food was absolutely delicious, and the kitchen readily accommodated one diner's dietary requirements. Philippe Faure-Brac even came out to greet us in person at the end of our meal. A very... More

We went for the large Millésime Menu, with five glasses of wine to go with it. The food was generally OK, but a bit on the fatty side for our liking. This is obviously a matter of individual taste, and I am sure that a lot of people will really like it, there was nothing wrong with how it was... More

We had a great dinner and the wines were well explained for each course. The wine came "blind" then they arrived with the bottle and told us all about it. The cheese course let the whole meal down, it was bland and uninteresting.

We had the most expensive 'pairing' menu which means that we had about six courses, each with a different wine. Served by the devine Matthew, who was knowledgeable and delightful, we learned about each wine, and had some wonderful surprises. The courses were superb, especially the lamb, and the strawberries. The cheese course could improve, but it was a most... More

We went there for dinner choosing a Blind menu. We specified our allergies -nothing strange, just a couple of things easy to reconize- to avoid problems with food. One hour later the main course had one of the TWO ingredients that we banned. When we asked to the waitress to check the course she answered us that was better speak... More

Within easy walking distance of our overnight stay at a nearby hotel, my partner & myself just happened upon this intimate & inviting 'local' for our quintessential French bistro dinner. . . . .& we're very glad we chose it, too ! Snappy service in a quaint setting (that tried just a little too hard with its wonky upbeat décor),... More

Went for lunch with my wife as a friend from Australia recommended it. Nice lunch, we chose fixed price three course lunch with matching 3 wines chosen by the restaurant. 55€ each. They chose the wines to go with the food you order and then you guess what you are drinking. Wines were interesting and some varieties I had never... More

Great fun trying to guess the source of the wine at every course while enjoying super French cuisine. What a place. Been there a few time, the first with a real wine lover who seemed to know most of the wines. What fun. A bit expensive but hey you are in Paris. Not too far from the Arc de Triumph... More
