I lived in Paris six years ago and this was my favourite restaurant then. On a recent trip to Paris I went back again and am so happy to report that they have maintained the same high level of quality over the years! The restaurant is small, unpretentious and intimate and the menu is very traditionally French (bistro-style). I have... More

This restaurant is so good we had to dine there twice on our short stay in Paris. Excellent food and wine for a reasonable price in a charming atmosphere. This is just the sort of Parisian bistro most travelers are looking for. English speaking servers is a big plus.

So impressed with service, food and wine. Amazing onion soup and ravioli. Fixed menu price of 15?. Not crowded and english menu and spoken by staff.

This great little restaurant on the Ile St. Louis served our best meal in 4 days in Paris. This is the French fare we expected on our trip and we finally found it. The onion soup, the omelet and the plat du jour (gambas de Procencal) were perfect. The service by Valerie was both friendly and efficient. We highly recommend... More

We called this place from our apartment and Michel, who speaks not so much English, assured us he could seat us in 5-10 minutes. We walked over and in my opinion, had the best meal we were gonna get in Paris. Michel, as noted in reviews, is super earnest, kind and eminates warmth, which you may not find everywhere. We... More

A typically French bistro just a short walk from Notre Dame with good food & lots of atmosphere. Loved the French onion soup. We were never waiting for long despite the restaurant only having one overworked waitress. Lots of familiar French dishes such as coq-au-vin to choose from. Enjoyable & recommended

We had a couple of restaurant recommendations for the area and liked the looks of this place. It did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service was friendly and the waitress tolerant of our linguistic deficiencies! It might seem cramped, but as it was a very cold January evening, we appreciated the coziness.

I make it a point to visit L'Auberge de la Reine Blanche every time I am in Paris. In fact, when I lived in Paris I would go 2-3 times a week (more than 16 years ago!). Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is small, but intimate. The service on this last visit was very attentive. The menu is outstanding... More

Squeezy, vibrant, tolerant of bad French, better than average food. Great lunch stop after Notre Dame.

Good food, good wine. classic small Parisian restaurant. Very small space as in many Restaurants in Paris...a great escape from the blistery winter evening. One waiter so anticipate a long relaxing and lingering dinner. We loved it.
