Good location and cosy atmosphere

This is a restaurant which I have visitid multiple times already and each time I get the service and food that you would look for in a restaurant. The food a very tasteful and also for a reasonable price. Also the interior is very funny and cosy. Nice place for coulples.

We where walking from Notre Dame through some small side streets and came across this little restaurant. It did not look like much from the outside but their lunch menu looked interesting and we decided to give it a try. And what a supersize we got. Their food was excellent and portion size was good, Service was friendly but slow... More

you might have trouble getting a table, as this is a tiny place. We lucked out as someone didn't show up for their reservation. We found the food excellent. recommended

The small restaurant provided a delicious fixed prix lunch. Service decent and friendly. House rose wine very good as was fois gras (additional charge worth it).

We happened onto this cozy French bistro for lunch and felt so lucky to have found it We had one of the specials for the day - hard to choose which one - and it was excellent. It was poulet au moutarde in a creamy sauce and potatoes with leeks. For dessert, we had the creme brulee, done to velvety... More

... and my expectations were perhaps too high! Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is great but their food was just OK.

A charming restaurant with a decent menu, not stunning but good enough. The service was well paced, forcing us to relax and breathe after a hectic week. The French music got a little overpowering at times, but I think that just helps press home the Parisian feel.

Our expectations were modest given the restaurant's location and the tenor of the other reviews. It is a small place so reservations are necessary. Service is attentive. Food is prepared to order and the kitchen is a bit slow so be prepared to take your time. We had: A menu for €26.50: Foie gras maison et sa confiture de figues... More

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
