Great dinner and company

What a great find near Notre Dame, thanks to a suggestion from Rick Steeves. We had a delicious 3 course meal, finished off with one of the best creme brûlées I've ever had. It's tight quarters, but we were lucky to have wonderful company beside us (thanks Jim and Bill), to pass the time while... read more

We ate here on our last night in Paris. The relaxed pace and ambiance was exactly right for our mood. My husband started with the onion soup, which he rated as the best he had tried in Paris. I had a salad with warm chevre on toast and lots of delicious lardons on a bed of fresh greens. We had... More

We went at a glowing recommendation from a friend. It took a terrifically long time to get served and service overall was very spotty. Almost an hour was waited to get a piece of cake for my husband's birthday and a check. Some of our food was very good. And some was average. I love the little island and the... More

This is a super cute place in a historic beam construction building with miniature (doll house) furnishings tacked on the walls for decoration - very unique. It's kind of tight and they needed more than one server for the restaurant but the food was really great. I'd recommend it as a nice place after a busy day, centrally located.

Very good typical French cuisine, the restaurant is small so you need to book ahead, amazing location after strolling in the Ile Saint Louis. Decoration is charming and unusual. Will certainly go back.

Auberge de la Reine Blanche is a charming spot and that's its only quality. My wife ordered Beef Bourgignon and I ordered Coq au Vin. In both dishes, the sauce was basically tasteless and watery. The price is lower than most restaurants in the vicinity and matches the food quality.

cozy atmospheric place. Visited him in order to try traditional Cuisses de grenouille and snails. Excellent location 5 minutes walk from Notre de Paris. Not expensive for dinner for two with wine paid 70 e.

This was my second visit to the ARB, and I was a little disappointed in that it was not great like it was the first time. After my first visit I had written "best duck ever" on their card and saved it so I could visit again. This time the duck was pretty good, but not great. My wife had... More

We had a fantastic meal here. The food was amazing, the service was top notch and the price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend a visit if you're in Paris

Passed this little restaurant on the way to Notre-Dame and stopped in for a meal on the way home. We had delicious onion soup for starter course - this left us both excited for our main course it was so good! I had Coq au Vin which was so tasty I think it could have had healing powers after a... Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
