Wonderful food and ambience

Marvellous meat! No hope for a veggie here. We ordered the T Bone (500gm) between us, which they were happy to do for us. If we'd come for an evening instead of lunch we would have gone for the Chateaubriand, which looked amazing. Beautifully cooked food, lovely staff, a real memory of a place.

I have visited in the restaurant few times in the past. It's a place to eat good meat . This time we visited there on Sunday noon. We were told that they were short of most of the popular sorts of meat as they had many visitors the evening before. It can happen but was disappointing since it is a... More

Vegetarians abstain! This place is for meatlovers, and they won't be disappointed. I've lived a 15 minute walk from this place for over 2 years and can't believe I hadn't been there until now. Went with family over the weekend, with everyone ordering the excellent value €34 "business menu" which includes an aperitif, entrée, main, cheese course, dessert, half a... More

This restaurant is ideal for anyone who loves steak and beef dishes. The sheer range was impressive in itself but everything including authentic french steak tartare is served. The a la carte menu is VERY pricy but hidden away in the corner of the back page of the menu is a fantastic value Business set menu for €34 per person... More

Especially the beef is honoured by this restaurant. Do not hesitate Tbone or entrecote are tasty and tender. The staff is nice and you receive a good welcome. The wines or champagne are various and you can find good bottles at all prices. The style is typical french "brasserie" and you can enjoy a good meal.To start the duck liver is very good.If... Came here for a friend's birthday before crossing the road to go to the Pitchfork Paris festival. Traditional french restaurant. Friendly staff - they loved singing happy birthday when they brought the desert out.. a nice touch. The hangar steak with mushrooms was a winner as was the floating island desert. Some of the starters were a bit ifffy -... More

Good food , great service and until late. Lots of choices and good quality food , for this area certainly one of the nicest place to go. The service was great from the start until the end and they serve late. Only problem could be the parking around but if you can't find a place they have a "voiturier" (but... More

During a visit in Paris, I got invited to the restaurant by some locals who love this place. Service was formal but slow. Dishes were very generous in size but were a little disappointing. They did have an interesting variety of meats with some dishes you probably won't find in many other places.

We went for evening dinner and ended opting for the 34 euro business menu. It included an aperitif, starter, main (including beef) with potato, cheese & bread, dessert then coffee all washed down with half a bottle of wine. What value and the food was cooked to perfection. The waiting staff were all lovely, it was such a great authentic... More

The experience on a weekday night was just like from a movie! A cosy brasserie/restaurant, filled with mostly French parties, conversations, laughter, and a very friendly staff just flying around to cater the full house. A 4-course menu with wines was very inexpensive, the food and service by far beating most restaurants I have ever visited. I left so happy... More
