Beautiful setting, great food, prices to match

My husband and I had lunch at Apicius last week at the suggestion of friends of his. It is one of his very nice client's favorite restaurants in Paris and they were shocked we hadn't eaten there before. The restaurant is located a gorgeous manor house in a park like setting right in the center of... read more

The setting is great which makes you believe you are going to be delighted with the food but I habe eaten much better anywhere else in Paris by... More

My husband and I had dinner last week. The service was extremely slow, it take too long between the appetizers and the entrees. The appetizers were good, but the main courses were dull, average, not tasty, and absolutely not outstanding as it is supposed to r It's an extremely expensive restaurant , we paid 408 euros, which is insane for the... Great Food from a very creative Chef, the green Asparagus with fresh Morels is definitely a great dish. A great French Chef without Attitude, friendly and open minded Regardless if you are having a drink in the Bar or during your dinner at the Restaurant, service is impeccable and closed to perfection. The location of the Restaurant in a Villa... More

I was here last night and had a horrible experience. There was a large table next to us celebrating a birthday. They were singing, clapping, shouting can carrying on like they were in a bar. Service was bad as well. We complained about the noise and the said there was nothing they could do. We asked to change tables which... More

In Paris there are plenty of super expensive restaurants with average food served in tiny portions, and then there are restaurants like Apicius where the locals go, or in my case where I was taken by locals, because the food and the setting are amazing. Set in the centre of Paris in a converted mansion (possibly it was an embassy... More

I have been to Apicius twice, once for dinner 3-4 years ago and once for lunch last December. Both times the food was incredible (albeit quite pricey). The first dinner was one of those top 2 or 3 meals that I will remember for the rest of my life. Besides the quite large bill (which we obviously expected), everything was... More
