This restaurant is a classic and is now run by the fifth generation. Most of the dinners are locals - which is always a good sign.
My husband and I came to this restaurant with a food tour group. The food was quite tasty and we were very pleased with the wine selections as well. I had the duck leg and my husband had the pheasant and we were both well pleased. The restaurant has been run by the same family for a couple of generations... More
We were highly recommended this place by one of the staff at Hotel Josephine down the road at Rue Blanche. We wanted a great french meal on our last night and weren't disappointed. The waitress was delightful and really made the place, the food was amazing. I had the duck carpaccio and beef stew which really tasty. The wine is... More
We ate here in July after stumbling over it whilst walking up to Sacre Coeur. It is a small family run traditional restaurant they were very accommodating in finding us a table with no reservation. The food was amazing and the nicest meal we had during our holiday in Paris & Nice the cost for 2 both having 3 courses... More
Ate here on our first night in Paris and we were suitably impressed. Food really tasty and good choice of food and wines. Slightly more expensive than some places we visited but enjoyed it so didnt mind. Would visit again when we next return to Paris
A lovely day in Paris via EuroStar July 24. Excellent meal and service at this genuine old Montmartre bistrot. We will be back.
This family restaurant was recommended by a Parisian friend and lived up to its advance billing. Unique menu for the special celebration together with music and singing added to the occasion and enjoyment. It would make a good traditional place in which to eat as long as you are seeking to sample home-style and friendly food and service, Nice bar... More

The first time was as part of a small tour group from Culinary Tours of Paris. The tour guide was a young American expatriate who loved French food and French culture. We came in the middle... More
We were fortunate to have a tour of the Montmarte with a private guide last week. The guide was delighted when we told her that we knew of the artist Poulbot. The perfect place to visit was restaurant La Pomponette. We popped inside to look at the artists work which adorns the walls- a treat! We continued with our wonderful... More
As soon as we walked into the restaurant we were blown away with the ambiance - very Parisian. The restaurant is more than 100 years old and family photos that adorn the walls add to the charm - not to mention the fabulous artwork, some of which was a bit risqué! The menu was in French but our host (who... More
