Great atmosphere, beautiful restaurant good food but limited options

First of all let me start by saying that if you want to dine in a restaurant that feels like it belongs in Le Chateau de Versaille, this is your spot ! typical French decor d'epoque. Loved the fire place, Chandeliers, gold frames etc... The restaurant was cozy, tables were not too close to each... read more

What a fantastic, timeless, historical Chateau-kind in the middle of Paris… The cobblestone entrance porch, the Mansion, lightings, Versailles wood floor, art, everything makes you feel like Royalty. The diner is absolutely perfect, impeccable service, … Just arrived... you are taken care of with lightness, kindness, grace … Every dish is showing a great creativity, with amazing flavors … Foie... Heard from some friends in Madrid that this restaurant would be a wonderful experience and yet affordable. My girlfriend and I loved this place and we felt completely comfortable eating here even though it was the nicest restaurant we had ever been to.

We came for Friday lunch and enjoyed both exquisite food and surprisingly warm, friendly and professional service. The decor is straight from the Versailles era which gave an incredibly opulent and decadent feeling. The Prix fixe lunch of €51 for three courses was far more affordable than the dinner options. There were also some delicious little extras like petit fours... More

This restaurant is a great place for those who love history, architecture, and food. It is in a house with great historic background. We had our wedding reception here and we could not be happier with both the service and food. The food was impeccable as was the table settings decoration. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our... More

Fine dining needs excellent, almost sublime food. We got that. It needs a good wine list. Check. It needs a venue that sets it apart. Lafayette's own house in Paris still kept in 18c style. Check. So why not full stars. Our waiter was just the wrong side of quirky. Friendly and helpful but brusque in a weird way. It... More

This is probably the most beautiful restaurant in Paris, a pure 18th century private apartment with an amazing collection of furniture, painting and objects making you feel home as a rich aristocrat, the best is to ask a table near the wood fire... The food is also excellentand reasonably priced for such place in Paris... A must for any one... More

I dined at 1728 in early October and had a truly wonderful evening. I was eating as part of a large group who had booked one of the rooms out and we had a set menu that had been designed to suit all dietary requirements. The food was absolutely glorious and the wine parings were perfect! The starter of sea... More

Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
