great find

After getting completely rained on at Notre dame Cathedral, we found this cute little place and had a great lunch. They had various menus starting from 12 euro up to 43 euro. What a fantastic restaurant! Strictly by coincidence we found this place. The first thing we saw was a vinyl record player, playing some great music. The wonderful waitress asked us to play whatever we wanted and little by little the restaurant got nearly full. The food was incredibly good and very reasonably priced too. Our company enjoyed both the entrecôte,... More

Randomly chose this restaurant since it was late and we were hungry. It wasn't crowded and the prices were considerably more reasonable than other Paris restaurants. We were incredibly happy with the service. The quaint atmosphere and records spinning on the turntable were wonderful. Both the beef and duck were excellent as were the escargot and onion soup. Unfortunately my... More

We came here on our last night in Paris and were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant has a very inviting energy and the owner/staff are super friendly. I was personally pleased to eat traditional Serbian food in Paris! Don't pass up on the Creme Brûlée here...

This restaurant is very close to Notre Dame cathedral and we had the 25€ menù which included appetizer, main dish of choice (I had the croustillant de canard which is amazing), a desert of choice and a decent wine. The atmosphere is easygoing and contemporary but with a touch of vintage either the vinyl record player. A must!

Stayed in the Latin Quarter and ate here on our first night after finding it by accident. Over the next few days we tried several other places and found ourselves comparing their inferior quality offerings to what we'd eaten here. So back we came for our final night and were not disappointed. If you're in the area this place is... More

Relaxed unpretentious restaurant, very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are very well mannered and all speak English. Food is excellent, all arrived on time and really nothing more you can ask for. Prices are very reasonable and would definitely be back there again.

We wandered in here after visiting Notre Dame. Very dark, cosy, great value traditional French restaurant. We had French onion soup, I skipped straight to tarte au pommes, my partner had chicken, mushrooms and lovely tiny roast chips/potatoes then yummy creme brûlée. And they serve Leffe, and brouilly for e4,50 per glass. 2 courses for E14 3 for E17, the... More

I would have given it 5 stars if the meat was cooked as ordered. Otherwise the service was awesome and the ambience was very nice.

For just 22 euros each, my friend and I had snails, a beautifully cooked steak, creme brulee and a glass of red wine! All of which were delicious - couldn't fault them - and the service was very good. Perfect french food.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
