Nice food but quite pricey

Nice menu and good food in true Parisien bistro style. The staff are friendly and easy-going. However, the prices are steep enough and at €13 for a glass of wine and €4.80 for an espresso, I think there is better value elsewhere.

This restaurant had been suggested to us by our concierge at le Mercure hotel. We are so happy that we went to this amazing restaurant. This was our best meal in Paris and our waiter, Thibeult, was so gracious and helpful with our meal and wine selection. This was our last evening in Paris and the perfect ending to our... More

Amazing traditional french menu. Products are sourced from prime suppliers. You should mainly expect meat. Our choices were perfect : frogs and snails are his specialty, the veal filet is excellent, the foie gras is home made with truffles, the mashed potatoes flavored with truffles are a must. For deserts, the chocolate mousse is very good and very generous (largely... More

We visited D'chez Eux at the strong recommendation of a friend, and after reading outstanding reviews of this old-school, classicly French restaurant. Sadly, we walked away exceedingly disappointed. We were a family of five dining together, in search of a unique French experience. The positives: staff was friendly and attentive and good with kids. The cons: food was very expensive,... More

These old style Paris bistros are getting more difficult to find and the orientation of the menu is largely unchanged in the 20-years I've known it. This means that the menu is meat-driven - only carnivores & hearty appetites need apply - and very regional in its influence, chiefly from the South West of France. It's rather expensive but I... we went to this restaurant on recommendation from the concierge at our hotel. The good.... Nice traditional French decor, warm welcome, good wine, good beer and charismatic waiter with good service to begin with. The bad..... My other half had the lamb, I also tried a bit, it was dry, tasteless and tough so not what we were expecting for... More

We went for lunch and were very impressed. The artichoke soup may be the best soup (any soup) i have ever had. The veal steak was cooked to perfection and was matched perfectly with tiny pasta shells with black truffle. A little pricey but worth it!! Still smiling.

Food is simply amazing, the service perfect... Every time I go to Paris, I must have at least one diner there. Pity that due to health and hygiene regulation they had to stop their dessert trolley's. It is pricy, but the quality is simply amazing!

This is a perfectly nice restaurant that was very close to where we stayed in Paris. It was nice enough and the food was tasty but it was distinctly average. Like many places in Paris we enjoyed the food, the service was typically polite with an edge and the wine was wonderful.
