Nice food but quite pricey

Nice menu and good food in true Parisien bistro style. The staff are friendly and easy-going. However, the prices are steep enough and at €13 for a glass of wine and €4.80 for an espresso, I think there is better value elsewhere.

Staff very friendly and high service at all time. Food was excellent. Everything we got was served in top level. I recommend this restaurant and a place I will visit every time in Paris.

Jean-Pierre is a great host and my husband and I loved our first time during our honeymoon so much this is the only restaurant in Paris we came back to during our 8-day stay in Paris. The tablecloths, the wine, the ambiance - everything is pure French relaxation. The duck pate was out of this world and easily could have... More

Very non-descript little French brassiere right near Hotel Des Invalides. We walked past it twice before we realized it was where we were supposed to be. Probably one of the best meals we had in Paris for our stay. Focus is on meat. We started with a fabulous charcuterie and followed with steak and one of the best pork chops... More

We enjoyed the food so much we came here twice during our stay in Paris. The food and the ambience were great. The cassoulet was the highlight for me. It was so flavorful and delicious it inspired me to find a recipe and mimic the savory taste. This place is pricy but worth the experience. The wine and staff were... More

We returned to this wonderful restaurant 5 years after our first visit and found it to be just as wonderful. The atmosphere is comfortable and warm and the food is excellent. The sweetbreads were superb as was the chanterelle mushroom appetizer. The chocolate mousse has to be one of the best in Paris! You will enjoy your meal here as... More

We were late (due to an unexpected detour) but the staff at d'Chez Eux held our table. The incomparable Jean-Pierre Pommard welcomed us and ensure that our table enjoyed our evening. The guest list is a cross section of Paris, including young families, businessmen, a small group of tourists fresh from the Eiffel Tower, and an accomplished, well-known English actor... More

We happened across this restaurant close to our hotel. It was by far the best food we had in Paris! The waiter was friendly and entertaining and made you feel like you were the only ones in the place!

From start to finish,I find this restaurant a great gastronomic oasis even for Paris standards. Whether it be the salade de harengs fumées (by Petrossian) or the escargots or the frog legs (cuisses de grenouille), the chef deserves a true applause. Chapeau! to the very kind and hospitable Maître as well. This restaurant truly knows how to take care of... More

This restaurant had been suggested to us by our concierge at le Mercure hotel. We are so happy that we went to this amazing restaurant. This was our best meal in Paris and our waiter, Thibeult, was so gracious and helpful with our meal and wine selection. This was our last evening in Paris and the perfect ending to our... More
