We arrived at this restaurant at 8:30 and were the only diners there....it did fill up over the next hour or so, but that was weird....our waiter, while nice, was inattentive and strangely sweaty, so weird again. The roasted chicken with mushrooms was delicious but 100 euros so not worth it....overall, not a great experience

Great food (so French) convenient location, friendly staff (my French is a bit shaky) prompt service, somewhat indulgent

This place was recommended to us by a friend, and it did not disappoint. It felt very authentic and non-touristy. The roasted chicken was delicious, and it was overall a great experience.

I've been eating here since I was a kid. I've taken some of my best friends here. I recently had dinner here with my ex-wife and daughter, and we shared a huge pièce de boeuf. When we showed up at the door, the waiter said, oh, you must be Monsieur C. This is what traditional French hospitality and the culinary... More

Our hotel recommended this traditional bistro to us and we were very pleased. The food and service were great. Seemed to be a spot frequented by a lot of locals. We had the roasted chicken with chantrelles and mashed potatoes and it was outstanding. Snails were some of the best I've had. A little pricey for lunch.

the food and service in this great restaurant is of very high level. the winelist is superb, with many grand crus. Escargots were amongst the best ive had, the confit de canard was perfect, i had 2 desserts since they were also made to perfection. highly recommended for duck dishes. to visit again and again.

We had dinner here with my parents while they were in town and I can say it was absolutely amazing. The escargot were delicious and the beef for two was very tender and tasteful. When it comes to dessert, I am a simple chocolate cake type person, but on recommendation I tried the Ring of Chou and was blown away.... More

Couldn't wait to return after so many years. So disappointing. Food mediocre. Beef for two overpriced and very average. Vegetables tasteless. Wine and husband 's foie gras good so giving 2 stars.. Won't return or recommend.

Stumbled onto this cafe as we were looking for a place to eat after having visited Invalides and it started raining. Really great traditional french cooking. Nice ambiance, great staff and the wine list was truly wonderful. One of the best meals we had while in Paris recently. We had the cassoulet which was divine and the lamb which was... More

Forget the tourist traps and travel a bit to this cozy French bistro. It has been around for the past 50 years and has a solid menu. The food is not the best in town (still very good), but the ambience, the staff, and the wine will make the night memorable.
