Great Food and Ambiance

This restaurant was recommended by our concierge and it did not disappoint. The waiter spoke many languages and was really friendly. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching! It is a great local bistro for Paris. We had the chicken and mushrooms and it was c'est magnifique! Really a lovely... read more

Although it is nearly 60 years old, we learned of this gem through our concierge. We dined here this week during our stay in Paris. The food, service and ambiance were wonderful. Most tellingly, the clientele were primarily locals. Our waiter was charming, personable, attentive and exceedingly patient with our young daughter. The ambiance was classic, old school French and... A truly delightful family meal. Food is classic French fare. Service was friendly and attentive. Frogs legs were a big hit with the teenagers. The rack of lamb was simple but tremendous.

this bistro is not like any other place. the quality of their dishes is second to non. i lived in Paris and frequented many of its top establishments. if you are looking for escargots, fois gras, confit de canard then look no where else. cheese and desserts are also excpetional, even the toffee caramel they offer with the cafe is... Jean-Pierre is a great host and my husband and I loved our first time during our honeymoon so much this is the only restaurant in Paris we came back to during our 8-day stay in Paris. The tablecloths, the wine, the ambiance - everything is pure French relaxation. The duck pate was out of this world and easily could have... More

Very non-descript little French brassiere right near Hotel Des Invalides. We walked past it twice before we realized it was where we were supposed to be. Probably one of the best meals we had in Paris for our stay. Focus is on meat. We started with a fabulous charcuterie and followed with steak and one of the best pork chops... More

We enjoyed the food so much we came here twice during our stay in Paris. The food and the ambience were great. The cassoulet was the highlight for me. It was so flavorful and delicious it inspired me to find a recipe and mimic the savory taste. This place is pricy but worth the experience. The wine and staff were... More

We returned to this wonderful restaurant 5 years after our first visit and found it to be just as wonderful. The atmosphere is comfortable and warm and the food is excellent. The sweetbreads were superb as was the chanterelle mushroom appetizer. The chocolate mousse has to be one of the best in Paris! You will enjoy your meal here as... More

We were late (due to an unexpected detour) but the staff at d'Chez Eux held our table. The incomparable Jean-Pierre Pommard welcomed us and ensure that our table enjoyed our evening. The guest list is a cross section of Paris, including young families, businessmen, a small group of tourists fresh from the Eiffel Tower, and an accomplished, well-known English actor... More
