Lovely Small Paris Restaurant

We ate dinner here on our first night in Paris and it was a great start to our time. I enjoyed a rabbit terrine for starter and a bavette steak, whilst my fiancée had a fillet steak. For deserts I had a café gourmand (tasting plate with café) and my fiancée had poached pears with hot chocolate... read more

Food was good but the atmosphere was so-so. I almost felt like the discount affected the service. I had swordfish which was good however the crime brûlée was excellent.

When ever we visit this restaurant we are welcomed like old friends. And we love the food that Chef Gatumel prepares. He does not cook fancy food prepared with obscure techniques but he does make hearty portions of good quality meat and vegetables. (There are no 200 euro per person tasting menus here.) He has a flair for the use of... More

My wife and I have begun a routine where we eat here at least once per week. Chef Gatumel prepares what we think is the new french style of cooking. He uses only the best and freshest ingredients to make innovative dishes. And since he prepares every dish, he controls the quality of the final product. He is complemented by... More

I was looking for another bistrot when I walked past this place - Le Pot aux Vins. And since I couldn't find the one I came for, I decided to eat here. The name and the interior decor interest me too. I was not to be disappointed. To start, I had a glass of Reuilly 2012, by Jamin. The staff... More

This small restaurant on an out of the way street across from Banque du France provided a couple of the best meals we ate in Paris. The owner/chef cooks with only the freshest ingredients. He seeks out small wineries, especially those producing organic wine, to stock his wine list. Ask the waiter for his recommendation and you won't go wrong.... More

Food was innovative and excellent. Flavour combinations were unique and had a Parisian flair crossed with international flavours. The owner/chef cooks with only the freshest ingredients. Ask the waiter for his recommendation for both the wine and your meal and you won't go wrong. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went... More

During a recent trip to France, we decided to head into Paris for our last meal. We couldn't have picked a better restaurant. I can't say enough about the welcoming, friendly and attentive staff and the fabulous meal we enjoyed. Each dish was executed to perfection using fresh ingredients. The chef has a flair for great flavors and all dishes... More

Outstanding cuisine, super friendly and quick service. A restaurant in the center of Paris that everyone should try. We tried the rumsteak (served with homemade fries) and the ceasar's salad and both were excellent! The ingredients were fresh and very tasty.
