Delicious and quick lunch

We had a wonderful and healthy lunch here. Ordered a fresh Italian salad that they gave us a main portion size. They even had a high chair ready for our little one and asked us if we wanted the heating turned down as we were sitting near the vent. Nice crowd and very satisfied.

The graphic, black and white facade of Causses, 55 rue Notre-Dame de Lorette, 75009 drew me into the store without knowing anything about the store. I found a small grocery store dedicated to natural and seasonal food products and a restaurant (called la Fabrique) with healthy soups and sandwiches (that could be eaten onsite or take away). If you find... More

Very cool and well designed place to grab fruit, cheese, meats and snacks in the 9th arrondissement. I found it to have so many tempting treats and it was all so appetising.

We had a great time shopping in the deli next door, a lovely array of fruit, meat, cheese and bread and some lovely unique treats and nibbles too, helpful staff made it a great experience.

Causses does have prepared food, but it's also an exceptional gourmet market. Want sea salt? They have more than a dozen. Fruit, nuts, crackers, candies, honey, vinegar - if it's gourmet they've got it. This is a wonderful source of stocking stuffers at Christmas and a great place to pick up a few items to bring home to food loving... More

Many choices up and down this street and I took a chance without any high expectation. Very glad I did. The spinach soup was excellent and so was the asparagus dish - it was in season. A good espresso to finish and I came away noting that I would return again some time - if only to also enjoy the... More

Right around the corner from my hotel I was lucky enough to stumble upon this wonderful Slow Food grocery and small cafe for lunch. It did not disappoint....I came back twice. Every day there is a plats du jour and it is always wonderful. Their grocery next door was one of the best I've ever been in. A great concept.... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
