Traditional French cooking

Overall this is an excellent choice of restaurant if you want to try traditional French cooking. We went because the menu looked interesting. I had the duck in harricot beans with Lyon sausages and it was superb. My wife raved over her fish dish. So we went back the second night, where I... read more

We went to this restaurant, for the second time, during our last evening celebrations in Paris. We had enjoyed their Traditional French cooking very much. We both ordered the 25 Euros Fixed Menu, which comes with an appetizer, a main course, dessert, and a glass of wine. First came the wine, my partner was offered to taste the red wine,... More

My moules mariner had been cooked for far too long, and I suspect some previously cooked mussels had been mixed in with what I was served. The one server inside paid little attention to the remaining diners, apart from one French lady who he decided to stand and chat with right beside our table for 10 minutes. When he finally... More

My partner and I went for a meal here not quite knowing what to expect. We were however pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly good value for money (we had a three course meal which included wine from the set menu), the setting was very cosy, and the one waiter was very friendly and provided excellent service. Overall a lovely meal... More

Went here based on Tripadvisor reviews and were greeted and seated by a very friendly waiter. Course prices were quite reasonable. The French onion soup was incredible and the beef bourguignon was really tender and nice. My mom had another beef meal however and it was as tough as rubber...I had to help her get through it. The decor is... More

I came here with my mother and wife after arriving tired, late and hungry in Paris on a Friday night and not wanting to queue up at some other local restaurants. This was near our hotel and the greeting was warm, the atmoshere quiet but pleasant. The menu had a good choice and we had starters and main courses. I... More

It was pouring rain and we just wanted to find a restaurant near our hotel. We step in this very little restaurant which does not look outside anything special. But the staff was so friendly - friendliest I have met here in Paris and the food was great. Pity that we were not that hungry so we only took main... More

We happened upon this restaurant o our first night and was so delighted with it that we ate there both nights we were away. The staff were so very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. It was a warm cosy atmosphere and good value for money. Highly recommend this wonderful little find.

We visited this lovely resturant twice. We usually have a rule "never go back" as you will be disappointed. However we had such a wonderful time the first night, we just had to return - and we weren't disappointed. The 3 course set menus are well priced, from €20. The food was superb, everything we would expect of a Parisian... More
