Best Restaurant we visited in Paris

In our week long visit to Paris, we visited this restaurant twice. We went the second time because the food was superb the 1st time and were not disappointed in the second visit. We are a family of 4 and the owners were wonderful with our children. The food was excellent, particularly the set menu... read more

We were staying at a hotel across the road from this restaurant, saw the reviews and thought we must visit! Must say that it don't live up to expectations - probably not worth going out of the way for - but if you're close by I'm sure you could do worse..

Wanted to try traditional French food and got a chance to visit Du Paradis based on the recommendations made by locals. The food, service and experience was great. The waiter was very friendly and explained the food options with utmost patience. Tried the famous traditional Duck Confit...Cuisse de confit de canard. The portion size was just right. The salad was... More

The food at the Du Paradis was really awesome. The Moulles in cream were some of the best we ever had, the prawns were delicious, too. The service was attending but not importunate. The prices are fair, the servings are of good size. We had a great evening and will definitly come back some day.

there was a good varied choice on offer and the prices were reasonable for a city like Paris. The food was delicious and well presented. We were not rushed and welcomed by the waiter/owner who was pleasant and helpful from start to finish. He helped with explaining the menu and took time to converse with us even though he was... Having tried to book elsewhere we found this restaurant by chance. From the outside it does not look like much, but the sign suggesting traditional food enticed us in. The food was excellent. Menu well priced and very generous portions. Simple but nice wine list to boot. Service was prompt and friendly. On the whole, if you are looking for... More

Overall this is an excellent choice of restaurant if you want to try traditional French cooking. We went because the menu looked interesting. I had the duck in harricot beans with Lyon sausages and it was superb. My wife raved over her fish dish. So we went back the second night, where I experimented with the duck hamburger (I don't... We went to this restaurant, for the second time, during our last evening celebrations in Paris. We had enjoyed their Traditional French cooking very much. We both ordered the 25 Euros Fixed Menu, which comes with an appetizer, a main course, dessert, and a glass of wine. First came the wine, my partner was offered to taste the red wine,... More

My moules mariner had been cooked for far too long, and I suspect some previously cooked mussels had been mixed in with what I was served. The one server inside paid little attention to the remaining diners, apart from one French lady who he decided to stand and chat with right beside our table for 10 minutes. When he finally... More

My partner and I went for a meal here not quite knowing what to expect. We were however pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly good value for money (we had a three course meal which included wine from the set menu), the setting was very cosy, and the one waiter was very friendly and provided excellent service. Overall a lovely meal... More
