Nice Restaurant in Marais Neighborhood

We ordered beef tartar, Supreme Chicken, Pasta with Pesto, Pasta with Tomato and Basil sauce, Duck Confit and White Fish. All the dishes were good except White Fish. It was very dry without any sauce and it was all mushed and shredded like shredded chicken. Totally bland. For dessert we ordered... read more

We visited this little bistro on their Saloon night so the place was decked out in a Western theme. Being a group of 6 we had to wait a little to get a table so definitely book ahead if you can as the place was packed with locals. The wait staff were amazing - it was my second visit to... More

Perfect spot to enjoy coffee, drink or meal. Late night music, good prices, friendly staff. We enjoyed every visit we made to it.

Saw this restaurant on the main road and it looked inviting- with outside seating. Good measures and very friendly staff- although we did not eat, the food we saw passing us looked very delicious.

We fell into this place by chance. Near a great bakery with the line out the door. We could tell it was frequented by lots of locals but we were made to feel a part of the culture and included. The waiter was everything, greeter, took our order, sang songs, and gave hugs and kisses to his customers!

I was very lucky to see this bistro in the rue de rivoli. Me and my family were looking for french food not very expensive; i suggest you to go there because: - they cook very good omelette, normal and chavignolet ones, - they have a large sum of french cheese as entry - the kitchen is very clean -... We ate a great meal... More

We found this tiny cafe while staying in Le Marais for a couple of days. Despite our very limited French, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Just outside the St Paul metro station it was perfect for a coffee and croissant breakfast before a day off sightseeing. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed an unexpectedly good meal at L E du N. Arrived for a late lunch on my own and was very warmly welcomed. The restaurant was busy with many regulars and locals. Had excellent hamburger with blue cheese, great accompanying potatoes and a nice side salad. It seemed everyone else was drinking and merry and the atmosphere was contagious. There... More

After visiting a photo expo at the nearby "Maison Européenne de la Photographie" we found this nice place in front of the Saint Paul metro station. It was 3 and a half PM, and it serves at any time. Friendly servers, (maybe a little overspeed), fresh and tasty food at a fair price (for central Paris). Noteceably frequented by both... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
