Beautiful typical Paris restaurant

We thought so highly of this restaurant, that we went there 2 nights in a row. The fish was superb. The mixed starters are just delicious. One of the starters was - Cream of Melon Soup. Melon, Ginger, Lime, Serrano ham chips and Kiwi. My wife had the Salad with Figs - Fresh figs, Arugula... read more

The receptionist at our hotel recommended this restaurant to us, and I'm so glad she did. The service was great, and so was the food. The menus are all in french, and the staff was sweet to translate to English for us. The food was cooked perfectly, probably the best steak I've ever had.

Really enjoyed our visit here. It's a little tucked away behind the Moulin Rouge. The hosts were exemplary, giving us the option of being served in French or English (we went for French)! The menu was fully explained and any queries answered. We went for a mixed starter and the terrine de campagne, and then the onglet de boeuf and... More

Awesome little restaurant (5 mins walk up the hill behind Moulin Rouge). Great French menu, super friendly, tasty food. Can definitely recommend.

Slightly on the expensive side, but the managers introduced each item on the menu carefully. Will recommend!

We ate here on our first night in Paris, the restaurant is very friendly, although a bit cramped. The meal was fine, although our steak was rather tough - I liked the option to choose the 'Indecisive' menu and have a selection of the starters and desserts. Give the reviews this restaurant has we were expecting something a bit more... More

Used TA to find a restaurant near Montmartre and found this amazing and sweet little place. We ate from the fixed €15 menu and were astonished with the quality of food, and the service was top notch. The waiter explained all the dishes in detail and spoke amazing English, and spoke with my wife in French first to say he... More

Food was really wonderful, staff were kind, knowledgable, friendly, fun and accommodating. And spoke great english. We were a meat eater and a veggie and they were happy to accommodate. Very reasonably priced. A real find I will be coming back to and recommending to friends.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local as apparently they eat here. Off the main road so you have to be looking for it. It's quite squashed but then most things are in Paris! we had a delightful lunch--a terrine followed by onglet of beef and then a superb cheese board. Very reasonable prices and a very friendly... Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
