The restaurant is run by Pakistani owner. Food has many options for indian people. We were used to eat Dal Makhani and butter Nan with beer in the dinner here. The dinner for two persons costed about 40 euros. They welcome Indian people with warmth and give good, fast service. On the second day they offered Sweet dish, Halwa free... More

I patronised this restaurant in 2008 and loved the food so much that I wen there the next day too. I visited it this June with fond memories of my previous meals. Unfortunately, the experience was not the same. I ordered a chicken briyani. It was so mediocre to the point that I dare say it was not briyani. It... More

This was a nice change of pace for us. The food was good and the decor very cool. The food had room for improvement. My husband wanted more spice and the dal need more flavor. For us, it was just nice to have something different.

Trying to find an inexpensive pakistani / indian restaurant near Montparnese area via TripAdvisor, led us here. Its just 500m from the Mountparnese Tower. The hosts were good and immediately served us with papar and assortment of chatnis. Being being pakustani and good cooks ourselves, the taste of food deliciously surprised us. A plate of Briyani cost us around 15?,... More

We decided to give this restaurant a try because it was just across the street from our hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good (except biryani) and the staff very friendly. The service was pretty fast and the waiters were attentive despite the restaurant being quite busy as it was New Year's Eve. Prices were moderate.

We came to eat to this Indian cuisine restaurant by reading the suggestions on trip advisor. Prices were fair, people are nice, the service wasreally fast, food is good and the position just next to MONTPARNASSE station. Totally recommended.

I went to this place after failing to find another similar type place I found on yelp. It turned out to be a great accident as they say. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, much more than others like it. I had a vegan dish of potatoes and peas in a curry sauce and it was fantastic! Give... More

There are quite a few so called Indian restaurants in Montparnasse, and I did try out a few of them. The Himalaya is by far the better amongst the lot. The dal, baingan and tikka are quite recommended. They do have a choice of fixed combos in case you are not feeling adventurous. Ambience and staff are friendly. Pricing is... More

Very friendly host. We did wish they had told us beforehand about the children's menu, as it was too much food for the kids (we'd already had a sushi lunch so everyone a bit full). But the food was excellent quality, and the service very good. They're competing with a lot of restaurants nearby, and have the entrepreneurial chops to... More

We ate here last night, after being handed a flyer in the street. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and they offer some good value set menus. We chose the 20ish Euro menu, which included starter, main, and a dessert. The food was all tasty, although the starter and main came all together on a 'prison-style' tray (with each item... More
